Pinex cough syrup you had to mix it at home. ## From what I can find, it is no longer being manufactured. There are many posts online with people looking for it, but no stores seem to carry it anymore and the manufacturer does not list it. Info on a cough syrup called REM.It was manufactured, I believe by Maryland Pharmaceutical around the 1940's. I think it had a blue bottle with a orange circle with the name REM printed on it ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any information on this, which really isn't very surprising for that old of a product. There were also many differences back then for what were considered pharmaceutical products. in pregnancy ## I cannot find a lot of information on this, except that some formulations contain Codeine as an active ingredient. Most narcotics do cross the placenta and can affect the baby, which is why some are born addicted when the mother is using or abusing such medications. Thus, it is not advisable to use them while pregnant, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. I am 56 years old. When I was a preteen my dad used to give my sister and I a clear medicine. It was the most horrible medicine I ever tasted! My OLD doctor said it was taken off the shelves because of miss use. I was trying to remember the name. ## I remember a clear cough syrup that was AWFUL called terpinhydrate. My brother & I used to run from it, but it really worked. It was discontinued in the 90's.

I've been taking corex cough syrup for the last 5 years. I'm trying to quit corex but have not been sucessful. Pls help me. I use to take this cough syrup when I was a kid. It was the only cough syrup that would help me. I was just wondering if it still can be bought? You had to mix it at home but I forget how. I have been taking Broncleer with codeine cough syrup recreationally for 3 years now at an average dosage of 50ml daily. how strong is tussionex ext rel sus? is is stronger than last one i got that said hycodone? ## Hello, Richard! How are you? Without knowing the dosages, I can't answer that. What is the dosage on the prescription? Tussionex also contains Hydrocodone with Chlorpheniramine, so it's likely close to what you've taken before. The FDA lists this medication as being a cough suppressant, but it does contain a narcotic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

Hello doctor! I am a college student who just graduated. A few months ago, in December, last year I drank a bottle of corex in order to get a good nap because i was not being able to sleep as stressed about the exams. I drank it all and slept, but two hours later, i woke up and it was around 10 pm at night, I got so sick. I felt like i was being electrocuted and i was breathing rapidly and my BP must have been very high as I could feel my heart beating fast and so rapidly. I couldn't even talk properly. Which cough syrups can you safely take with Tikosyn? ## Did you have a few specific products in mind? It would help to know for the sake of being able to cross check ingredients. For example, Nyquil contains Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, and Dextromethorphan - none of those ingredients appear to interact with Tikosyn [1]. Please share the name of the cough syrup that you prefer to take.

I have been taking from two days Banocide Forte & cough syrup for severe cough, difficulty speaking due cough, shortness of breath, clearing of voice consistently. I have been having cough, cold, fever for 3 weeks, now cold & fever have subsided but severe cough is still persisting. There are different medicines for different kinds of cough (i.e. oral expectorants, cough suppressants, topical ointments, etc).
