So no, it isn't likely that the narcotics have had anything to do with it. How much Prednisone do you take, how often do you take it and for how long of a time period? hi , i recently had some issues with high anxiety and testosterone supplementation . I was using a small amount over a period of time . My enrergy levels went up but along with it my anxiety was through the roof including panic attacks . I talked to a doc for free on the phone and he said the reason for the anxiety was the increase in cortisol levels . I read about it and he is right . I went on a specific diet of no sugar , no caffeine or energy drinks and it has slowly come back down . I have a ways to go . So these docs want a fortune to monitor this stuff . I dont want to play russian roulette with the stuff . How do you keep the cortisol levels down while raising the testosterone levels ? ## Have you tried consulting a real doctor, who can actually run test for your levels and help...

Opites make my BP drop 80/50. I am on Fentanyl Patch 25mcg and feel very dizzy & sleepy. Think my BP is dropping dangerously, i have had lots of fluids & hung upside down off the bed. I am very sweaty. Think i need to up my dose of Prednisone but dont know by how much. Can u pls help me. ## Hello, Cathy! How are feeling? Those could also be just side effects from the Fentanyl patch, which might be why the extra fluids didn't help. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have a blood pressure monitor to check with, when this happens? ## Dear Verwon, thank you for your help. I think you are right that it is the Fentanyl. I will invest in a Blo...

My doctor gave me 20 mg white, scored pill with writing on one side around the pill and 25. I cann't see the words. He took blood tests and said my a.m. cortisol was very low and my adrenalin was insufficient. I don't understand what he is talking about. He gave this perscription for Hydrocort 20 mg 1 pill day, 1/2 pill p.m..I don't know if this is serious or what it even is. I don't like my doctor because he gets mad if I ask questions, but twice he gave me the wrong medication, and they had to do emergency surgery right away, or wi would have lost my foot. Another surgeon did it and told me he opened my foot and stood back, that is how the infection inside just exploded all over everything. That wasn't the first mistake my doctor made. I go to him for arthritis. Pl...
