I am age 75 and was for a long time taking amlong 2.5 mg once at night. Since the BP reading continued to be above 140/90 my cardiologist suggested corbis 2.5 mg once in the morning with telmasartan 40 mg. This I continued for nearly 1 year and even then the BP reading in the afternoon was higher. Then he suggested to have telmasartan 40 mg twice daily. Now a week back, he has prescribed cilaheart 5 mg (climipidine) twice daily. So, this along with nirtrocontin 2.6 mg half tablet twice daily. Does anyone have any idea about the combined effect of these drugs and also the side effects?

I have been prescribed Aztor F(10/145) by my cardiologist alongwith other medicines like Deplatt 75 mg(OD); ecosprin 150 mg(OD), corbis 2.5 mg(OD); Ramistar 5 mg OD; glyciphase 500 mg BD, pantocid 40 mg. I have not been able to find detailed information about Aztor F(10/145) either on the net or on discussion forum. The medicine is also not commonly available with chemists. Can any one tell me about the second salt (apart from Atorvastatin) contained in the medicine and what are its properties.combination of salts contained in this ## My total cholesterol is 245mg/dl.triglycerudes 318 mg/dl.hdl is 45mg/dl.and ldl 136mg/dl. have been taking prothiaden for about 8 yearsand stallopam5 for the last 2 yrs. and corbis2.5 in the morning as well. Problem is the gases and flatulence which disturbs my sleep a lot.Sometimes the mouth gets overdry .I am not diabetic and the bp is close to normal.I felt a lack of interest in sex and libido to some extent.Also if i do not take the above Rx. i get angry and hyper. PLEASE ADVISE.THANKS.
