After an endoscopy my doctor prescribed me Sompraz hp for one week (three tablets daily). I have a minor stomach infection. My stomach was heavy and I felt pain for quite some time, as well as lots of gas passing. Please tell me, do I have to take these three tablets before meals or after? And is this the correct medication for my infection? Lastly, is it safe for me? Please reply. What side effects have other patients reported while taking Fludrocortisone? ## I have POTS and I faint all the time. I was put on this med before and it made me very nervous. Now I am trying again and am gaining weight and again very agitated. ## I do the same thing. Can you try lowering the dose? Norco 750 white with pink dots ## Prescription drugs that contain Acetaminphen are not allowed to have more than 325 mg of Acetaminphen now. ## @Michelle, Post #1 is correct. Acetaminophen is capped out at 325mg now-a-days. So the old Vicodin's with 750mg of Acetaminophen are no longer being made. However you can still get the 7.5mg dose of Hydrocodone. I wouldn't want such high amounts of Acetaminophen in my tablets anyways though since the risk of liver damage is always there. Makes me wonder why they still bother putting Acetaminophen in medications, seeing that it offers very little benefits vs risks. Did you also have any specific questions regarding these pills? The medicine in xanax is alprazolam, it is a benzodiazepine. The oval pink pill w ip53 on it is an ssri antidepressant ## Michelle is correct about the incorrect brand name and our editors have noted that in the original post. Just to clear up any confusion - the tablet being described is in fact Citalopram 20mg manufactured by Amneal pharmaceuticals. NDC # 65162-053. It is indeed classified as an SSRI antidepressant.

The balance between benefit & side effect, must be overwhelming on the side of benefits. Otherwise the medication should be considered "work in progress". I have been informed that this medication stops cravings for alcohol and other drugs. it has been around for a while but now the dr's are prescribng not just for drugs and withdrawel but I understand it as some benefits for helping with pain.
