hi my child has started this treatment for ADHD. the medication is adderall cor 130. i would like to know if its safe for my 5 yr old son.I dont trust this pills but his mother says its ok.. i just want to make sure its ok for him. please let me know if its safe. ## Hello, Flex! How are you? It is no more or less safe than any other FDA approved medication, which means there can be some risks, but they are rarely known to occur. This is also a very low dose, it's a generic for Adderall and this is just a 5mg tablet, its a stimulant, so normal side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and insomnia. How long ago did he start it?

How is it working for you? ## Mark is correct, the active ingredient in Avinza is Morphine. Have you ever taken it, before? It did work well for me for pain, when other medications failed to help. I am a 45 year old male. I was taking Losanorm H 50 - 1 no and Concor Cor 2.5 - 02 for my BP condition and the average BP was maintained around 130/90. Recently my Doctor changed the medication to 1 no Tazloc Beta 25 in the morning and 1 no Amlodipine 5 in the evening. I am taking this revised medicine for the last 10 days and is suffering from abnormal variation in BP - sometimes it is spiking up to 160/100. My Doctor advised me to continue with this combination for 6 wks and to make a decision thereafter whether to increase the dosage. I shall request for reply on when can I expect my BP to stabilize and / or what medication may be better for me? My lipid profile is normal now and I apparently have no other complication. ## It can take 4 to 5 weeks for your body to adjust to the medic...

My foster son has ADHA he just began taking D-amphetamine salt combo 5mg. it is blue, round, x on one side of tab and cor 130 on the other side. how long till i start seeing it work for him and what are side effects and signs that its not working. ## The mixed Amphetamine salts are a generic for Adderall and they should start to have some effect right away, but it will take several weeks before it reaches its full effectiveness and you know how well it will work for him. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and insomnia. Learn more Adderall details here. If it's not working, then you'll likely not see any behavioral improvement, but as I said, you'll need to wait a few weeks to really know. Are there any other questions?

From what I've read, some have noticed changes in a couple of days and for some, a couple weeks to a month. The side effects are: loss of appetite, weight loss, dry mouth, stomach upset/pain, nausea/vomiting, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, fever, nervousness, and trouble sleeping. If your son experiences any of these rare but serious side effects, seek immediate medical atte...

If it isn't working for him, then you won't see an improvement in his behavior or attention span, when that 4 to 6 weeks has been reached. The side effects may include nausea, irritability, loss of appetite, insomnia and you can read more about the mixed Amphetamine Salts here. Are you familiar with ADHD, at all?

Can I take Tramadol with Methadone? I take 50 mg of Tramadol and 130 mg Methadone. I heard Tramadol can block the Methadone or your Methadone won't last long. ## Hello, Mick! How are you? It generally isn't recommend that you take them both, because what you've heard is correct, the Tramadol can block the Methadone and cause dangerous withdrawal. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Had a tooth extracted 24 hours ago. Still having serious Pain, Can I Take Tramadol 50 mg every 4-6 hours. My husband is currently in care and his pharmacy bill was $130 for 19 days. Many pills were prescribed in the 100's when he's only on one per day. His drug sheet says some of drugs were ceased, yet he was still charged for the same amount. The staff says the account is not right but the pharmacist says it's all correct. Where do I go to check? ## If he is not taking multiple medications each day, but it still being charged for multiple medications, then something is wrong. Let me make sure I am understanding you, he stopped taking some medications, and from your post, he is only taking one each day, correct? If so, it is possible that this medication is just more expensive than his others? Has the pharmacy provided you with a receipt so you can check exactly what he was char...

What should the dosage of this med be. Adult female approx 130.lbs. ## The usual Adult dose for an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection is 250 to 500 mg orally every 6 hours for 7 to 10 days. Anatomically speaking, the upper respiratory tract does include the sinuses, so it would be safe to assume that this would be the correct dose for this type of infection. You can read more about this medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## Hi! Thanks for posting! What has your doctor advised? The usual dosage for something such as a sinus infection is 500mgs every 12 hours, but it can vary depending on the severity of the infection, so you should follow your doctor's instructions. ## Should your boyfriend be treated if I am taking Cephalexin? ## Should Keflex be taken away ...

I am 93 and have severe back and neck pain. I had back surgery 15 years ago after a back injury causing back and leg pain. After surgery, the leg pain went away but I still suffer from lower back pain. For a long time I would see the doctor who did my surgery every six months and he would give me a mega shot of cortisone on each side of my lower back which helped the back pain. Since then we moved to Orlando about 130 miles away from the doctor, but now I do not drive since I use a walker. My family doctor has given me hydrocodone-acetaminophen 5/325 and it helps some. I also sometimes take tylenol. Is it safe to take it with the other medication? Thanks for any help you can give me. ## No, you should not combine Tylenol with the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen, since they both contain Acetam...

So, when hypertension is a misread diagnosis and Losartan is prescribed, fluid retention occurs. HCTZ is added to no avail then doubled. Retention continues. Before Losartan, BP avg to 160/100. After, 160/90. HCTZ added, 140/90. HCTZ doubled, 110/87. Remove Losartan and HCTZ, 130/80. A misdiagnosis can be deadly. Not understanding your med cocktail is just as deadly. Mine was a case of hyper-vigilance brought on by bad medication complex. Doctors miss this daily. I tried with 6 doctors who kept going with the hypertension conclusion. Once I stopped the bad medications, I was fine. Don't always trust a doctor to be correct. They don't always have the time to do the correct research. Do your homework. It's your body. It's your responsibility. ## Yes, it is wise to always b...

Navigating the maze that is Dexedrine Generics is painfully complicated. Here are some tips. Everyone has their preference when it comes to medications like Dexedrine and Adderall. I happen to believe that the Brand Name drug is preferable to the generics, but the price is just astronomical. Dexedrine ER Capsules (Amedra) are priced at about $1300 for a bottle of # 90. The right to manufacture generic versions of the brand medication is spread among a number of companies, and changes constantly as companies are sold and resold to different holding groups. As for Generic Dexedrine: in 2010 Corepharma purchased the right to make Dexedrine from GlasxoSmithKline. CP then offered Brand Dexedrine (made by one of their divisions, Amedra) and generic Dextroamphetamine Sulfate - under the CP lab...
