I started my period in April, but I wasn't on the brown pill yet. and now I haven't had a period for the month of may. I have no symptoms of pregnancy. I kept holding my urine in for a while now my bladder hurts. maybe that caused my cycle not to come? idk. and I'm taking lo loestrine FE. ## Have you contacted your doctor? Why are you holding your urine in? That's never really a good idea, because it can cause various problems, such as urinary tract infections. It can be normal to skip your menstrual cycle, when you are new to taking oral contraceptives, due to your body adjusting to the hormones, but you should talk to your doctor to be certain. I have a timer that goes off every hour to remind her to go to the bathroom. My father still lives by himself and had prostrate cancer several years ago. Now he has bladder issues - was taking Vesicare and just got off gelnique because he says it doesn't work. Went back to vesicare Suggestions???

I bought a 130 ct bottle of low dosage Bufferin for heart reasons. (I recently had a tripple bypass) I noticed that several pills we only half sized while others were concave on one side thereby reducing the dosage. I have switched to Bayer. ## If they were purchased in the U.S. you can report these anomalies to the FDA at 800-332-1088, but they will probably need the information from the packaging, such as the lot number and expiration date. You can also contact the manufacturer and the information to do that should also be on the packaging. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I have the same problem. Half sized pills with some concave pills. They are from a 130 ct also. I need to know how to get in touch the the maker. No info on the bottle, and the paper insert has been thr...

I just started a new birth control two and half weeks ago. I have been on birth control before, started at 16, with some stomach pains for a couple days within the first month. That was on Lo Loestrin Fe, then I switched to the generic. Now moved out and getting my birth control on my own at 20, a new doctor gave me microgestin. (She was so insincere and wanted me out the door ASAP). For a few days I have felt nausea and severe stomach pain, only throwing up once. But it would go away after a few hours. Today things took a horrible turn. The pain was so unbearable from my abdomen I was in fetal position crying all day like a child, while my boyfriend tried to do everything he could to help. Not eating a meal in a couple days, I dry heaved twice and my body temperature would rise and fal...

So last year I was on yaz and after about 3 months, I started having cramps and gas and always felt like my stomach wasnt settled. My mom thought I was lactose intolerant but when I stopped my pills over summer, my stomach was back to normal. Now I am on yaz again and after 2 months the same thing is happening with my stomach. Has anyone else experienced this with yaz? Should I be worried. I think I am going to ask my doctor to switch. ## Hello, Marz! How are you? Has there been any change? Those can be side effects of oral contraceptives, according to the NIH. You may also experience headache, PMS-like symptoms, and spotting. i want to stop my pregnancy for two years which medicine is good for me . ## There are oral contraceptive pills that you can take daily and then stop, when you wish to be able to become pregnant. However, not everyone can safely take them, so you'll need a health exam and some tests, before they can be prescribed. You also have to remember to take them daily, as missing any can result in pregnancy. Learn more oral contraceptive details here. There are also intrauterine devices that can be implanted by a doctor to prevent pregnancy. They are usually effective for several years and can be removed, when you are ready to get pregnant. Again, this is something you'd need to see a doctor to have done. Learn more IUD details here. I'm not a doctor, so I can't say which would be...

Is fast becoming a low grade but definite controlled substance. Have there been many cases of over dose? Deaths? Why is this happening? Back in the day you could order narcotics from Sears catalog. And buy tramadol over the counter. I'm not saying this is responsible for this day in age of course, but there just seems to be so much over control. I'm not speaking for all, just this particular medication. It has potential dependence not so much abuse. And so what I don't drink. Don't smoke.hate that, ew. Just put it behind the counter and ask for an I.d. 21 and older. ## Hello, BluLotus! How are you? I understand what you're saying, but Tramadol does have addictive potential, plus there have been cases of overdose. While it seems like a rather benign mild medication, i...

I am 2 weeks late for my period so I went to the doctor. They checked me out and did a pregnancy test which was negative. I did 4 at home which were all negative as well. My doctor then prescribed me birth control (Sprintec) to help me regulate my period... So I can start it... My question is, since I haven't gotten my period and it's not Sunday, do I start the blue pills first still or take the white to help get my period? Idk... Please help. ## The pills that you take the week you are supposed to get your menstrual cycle do not contain any active ingredients and will not help you get your period. They are placebo pills and usually cause bleeding due to breakthrough bleeding, since it is a week off of the hormones in the other pills. That said, you do not have to start these on...
