I am 37 yrs old and pregnant with my fourth child. I have hx of psvt during pregnancy and each time been put on con or 2.5mg qd in am. However at times shortly after taking the medicine I can not stay awake. I sleep most of the day and for a short time in the evening I feel almost normal. Whats going on? Should I try taking it at night instead of the morning? Please help

Been taking Concor 5mg, 2.5mg am and 2.5 mg pm for 6 months. The first 5 months Concor kept me from having breakthrough atrial fib episodes. Now I am having them frequently and the Concor is not able to control the. I do have bradycardia but not high blood pressure. I am an expatriate US living in Cyprus and don't have anyone to ask. I am 64 yrs old and diagnosed for mitral valve prolapse. My cardiologist prescribed to me concor 5mg. I feel pain after taking the concor 5 so i reduced it to 2.5mg yet i still feel a the pain. I have decided to cut in half the 2.5mg but still i feel some pain. Shall i continue taking it. I have a normal blood pressure. ## What type of pain? Generally body aches, or stomach pain? My 66 year old mother went for a knee replacement operation and ended up in icu. She suffered Pulmonary embolism and has moisture on her lungs. She takes eltroxin and premex plus 4mg. The doctor changed her eltroxin to .5mg and changed her blood pressure medication to concor. She now slurs and gets very hypertensive. Is concor a better blood pressure tablet and is it good to change her dossage of eltroxin from 1.mg and 1.5mg every second day to .5mg daily? ## Good morning in September last year my GP put me on to premex (lowest dosage). what are the effects of concore 2.5mg in my body. i want to know the good and the bad effects of concore 2.5 mg in people taking it. ## i am 30yrs old male. i have had anxiety problem since 1 year ago and was prescribed taking concor 2.5mg, but i am only taking half pil 1.25mg together with norvasc 5mg. the problem for me by taking concor is my heart rate will go down as low as 42 to 45 during night and during day it stays around 50-56. sometimes i feel not OK (depressed, tired, etc) probably because of low heart rate.. i tried to stopped taking concor with advice from doctor but my BP increase above 140/90 and i feel not OK as well... so i am still taking it..this is problem while taking beta blocker...

I have been taking concur 5 mg for the past 8 years due to having fast heart beat. For a month I started to drink 3 cups of coffee and smoking 2 small cigars all that in the evening during 3 hours time. I felt my heart beats are getting to be high then I started taking 10 mg every day. I stopes the habit of taking too much coffee and smoking at the same time then I also stopped taking 10 mg and went back to 5 mg. But since one week now my BP is getting too high above 145/85. And never below 136/80 during the day at resting time. I never had a history of high BP. My BP was always 120/80 or below. Please advise. I have a constant cough, non-productive at most times, joint pains, sleepiness, vision distortion sometimes, loss of balance and excessive weight gain.
