Hi , I started sprintec in may , so Ive been taking it for 3 1/2 months . I stopped 3 weeks ago , while I was taking the white pills and on my period . I started trying a week later but nothin yet . How long do you think it will be for me to be able to conceive again ? ## Hi, Toni! How are you? It will likely take a a few months, before you ovulate and can conceive a child. These hormonal contraceptives primarily work by suppressing ovulation and it can take awhile for things to rebalance, so it happens again naturally, once you stop taking them. I have been on this birth control for six months. I stopped taking them a few weeks ago simply because i misplaced my new pack. Anyway, it has been about 3 weeks and no period. I had a drop or two on a tampon a week ago but that was it and i have had pretty painful cramps since stopping them as well. I have negative pregnancy tests and i havent had intercourse with my husband since a couple of days after stopping the pill. Obviously at this point if i were pregnant, a test would show positive by now. Before i start taking these pills again, does the lack of period mean i will have trouble conceiving when my husband and i decide to? Im concerned. Many women with thyroid problems have trouble conceiving, until they take the prescribed medication and get their TSH to a better number. I had miscrriage 3 months ago.. After that my menses are noemal.. I wanted to conceive ao my doctor advised me prolifen from 2 day to day 6.. Assalam o alaikum sir it has been 2 years completed of my marriage but my wife is not conceiving she had also concerned to a dctr nd dctr said that she is ok and recommend semen analysis so i did and in my report the part "the micro scopy examination result" shows low count that is only 10 million/ml and beside it in bracket it has written that the normal count is 60-120million/ml so i concerned to a doctor he recommend me gonadil f and vibramycin he said me that there is a infection and said me to again give semen analysis..... What pills are you asking about? Did you mean oral contraceptives that are used to prevent pregnancy? If so, then no, they will not cause miscarriages or affect future fertility. They only work to prevent pregnancy, while you're actively taking them. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms.

However, your hormonal balance may be off, for awhile, after having it removed, which may explain the miscarriage and difficulty getting pregnant, again. Unless your doctor sees some reason to be concerned about a fertility issue, it will most likely just take time. Are you having regular periods? i was treated for an UTI with macrobid for 7 days,at the same time i was ovulating and became pregnant.should i be worried for my baby? ## You may want to mention it to your doctor, just to be sure, but from the details I'm finding, it isn't known to cause problems unless taken during late pregnancy, such as during the last 2 to 4 weeks. We are planning to conceive and I am taking clomid, is it right to take be taken a diet pill (ie )sensa at the same time why trying to be pregnant. ## I wouldn't suggest taking anything that your doctor hasn't approved of and told you is safe for you to take. Hormones can be very touchy and if they are the slightest bit off, it can make it very hard for you to get pregnant, thus it's really hard to say what may upset the balance. And really, if you want to get pregnant and have a healthy baby, it's just not the appropriate time for a diet pill. There are much safer ways to lose weight, if you feel you need to, such as with proper exercise and a healthy diet. Is there anything else I can help with?

Sir, I am under thyroid treatment from Dec 22, 2016 taking 50 mcg thyronorm with T3-106ng/DL, T4-7.8ng/DL ad TSH-5.01ulu/ml. My periods are irregular varying as 31,25,39 even after taking 50 mcg. Before periods would be delayed for more than 2 months. My husband is also undergoing thyroid treatment from Jan 27, 2017 taking 100 mcg eletroxin with T3-148 ng/dL, T4-8.7ng/dl and tsh-3.47ulu/ml. We are desperately TTC. The last 3 pregnancy have ended in miscarriage last one resulting in d and c. Had a very weird period, pos tests the neg then pos pregnancy test. Period started, 7 days late, very scant and dark. Lasted 2 days.followed by discharge tinged with blood for about 4. Went to see dr today, as pelvic area is sore, went for scan, have one small 2.5 cm cyst on ovary and fibroids. Nothing huge. he put sore pelvic area down to a colon spasms. Anyways while I'm there I mention that I'm hormonal and just down at the moment, stressed beyond belief so he prescribed espiride.
