Moved to western North Dakota from East Coast. Have been prescribed methadone for 15+ years to treat legitimate pain. Have taken same dose for last 8 years; (100mg/day). If anyone lives in this area if the country and might have a name for me, it would certainly help as I search for a physician. I have my records for every year of pain treatment, including tri annual drug panels (always + for proper med/dose), all Rx records with same pharmacy, and haven't ever needed script filled early, I take meds exactly as prescribed, and just want to create a positive relationship with a new physician who can see that I am a trustworthy patient and just want treatment for my pain. Because im not comfortable is it ok to stop taking trust pill i take it 2nd time but i want to stop it...im going home Philippines for vaccation by 21 of dec. Just protection therefore i decided to take it on my first period yesterday and the following day at the same time .Is there any side effect if i stop it .... ## It isn't dangerous to stop it, after only a couple doses, but it may throw your period off, so it could last longer, be heavier than usual, or become irregular for awhile, according to the NIH. And, of course, you will not be protected from pregnancy. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am comfortable with my own regimen. I have started dieting (I tend to avoid whole grains in my diet). I eat more eggs and then full 8 liters of water a day. I have yet to try jojoba oil but I guess there is no need as my cream (SR Lotion) already contains a blend of jojoba oil and lactic acid. For two months now I have used SR Lotion to manage the red patches and the dryness. So far it works very well in controlling the flare ups. I understand SR Lotion is an excellent treatment, but not a cure, and a lot of times I am wondering what else I can do to support my regimen. I try avoiding wine and everything that has alcohol content. I don't know why it tends to make me rosier. What else is bad when you have rosacea?

I was just prescribed this medicine and do not feel very comfortable taking it. I would like to know if any one has tried this drug and how did it work. I was previously on oxycontin and the Dr. just changed me to this. I have been on this for about a month. I was only taking 3 a day. I didn't feel comfortable taking 4. So my Dr said that was fine. Then Friday night I felt done swelling in my throat, but that subsided after a couple hours. I went to bed, got up to go to bathroom and my legs felt really heavy. So I laid back down and in about 5 minutes later got up, same thing. I also started feeling very nauseous. Thought maybe I was coming down with the flu. Never got sick, just felt bad. How many milligrams of Xanax is safe for a hundred pound dog to take to make it comfortable to give an enema? ## How many milligrams is SAFE? Well considering that xanax alone is nearly impossible to overdose on; a 100lb dog could "safely" take upwards of 500mg of xanax and not be harmed. That would be a good nap for sure! However that would be way too much. You did ask what was "safe" though. lol. In all reality it probably won't actually take any more than 2 mg or less.

Why does it make me feel nauseated? It doesn't take my pain away or make me feel comfortable. In fact I feel like crap. I have severe nerve damage throughout my whole body. If it is not working for you, you should inform them, you may need a dosage adjustment, or to try a different medication. After 15 years I was kicked off 200 mgs of methadone daily because the pain doc wasn't "comfortable" with it all of a sudden, but he is perfectly willing to let me drop dead suffering like a dog in front of my family at age 60, two hip replacements and severe osteoporosis. Sure enough the first day I went into a massive withdrawal and wound up with a dislocated hip on top of it at the ER. I wrote a complaint to the NY health dept and got a nasty letter saying the doctor can do whatever he wants as long as he provides emergency care. I was prescribed Uvox100 Pexep CR 25 and Clonil for treating my depression but i was not comfortable with them. But then also i took them for more than a year and ultimately i had to forcefully drop the medication in between, because it had made my life so worse. It had totally numbed my emotions as well as my mind which i later found out with a different doctor that those medicines were far more than the required ones, in my case, these high power medicines were not required in my case. I am afraid to discuss options for pain management with the hand surgeon I see this morning. I am so uncomfortable and have had oxycodone before but was curious if that is normal for severe nerve pain or if the have other options. I'm having problems getting my prescriptions filled at cvs because the pharmacist doesn't feel comfortable filling it. I have been prescribed promethazineDM for over a year now but my allergies have been so bad I had to start getting the codeine instead of the DM. The pharmacist said that I have been prescribed the medication too much but this is only my 3rd prescription with the codeine and they all have only been 4oz each. Hi all, I am going to jump up to 10mg as my psychiatrist told me to start @ 5mg and go to 10 once I felt comfortable.This was because I have been on Paxil and Cymbalta but had to stop due to bad side effects. I have see a few effects with the 5mg (tiredness, issues with concentration, palpitations, increased anxiety) but none of the effects have been too bad and seem to have kind of been stabalized as I am on day 10 of 5 mg. I need a new Dr. as mine has decided with the DEA regs he does not feel comfortable prescribing anymore.
