Hi im 16 years old & my doctor prescribed this to me so that i can have a normal period but i saw everyones comments & the side affects of it & im scared to take it its 10mg & i dont feel comfortable with it ## What types of problems are you having? I was prescibed 100mg/25HCTZ of Losartan. I have been taking 5mg/6.5HCTZ of Ziac. I was concerned that the Doc started me off with such a high dose of 100 mg of Losartan when the internet says the starting dose is 50mg. My BP went up hovering around 140/90 while on the Ziac. Any thoughts? ## Hi Charlie, I'm sure your doctor only prescribed what he thought would benefit you, however it is your body and if you are not comfortable with the dosage you should definitely speak with him. He may have prescribed you a larger dose to compete with the Ziac that could still be lingering in your system. Hi all, I am going to jump up to 10mg as my psychiatrist told me to start @ 5mg and go to 10 once I felt comfortable.This was because I have been on Paxil and Cymbalta but had to stop due to bad side effects. I have see a few effects with the 5mg (tiredness, issues with concentration, palpitations, increased anxiety) but none of the effects have been too bad and seem to have kind of been stabalized as I am on day 10 of 5 mg. Should I expect to go through it all again as I jump to 10mg? or will I be better off since I am only coming up from 5mg as opposed to jumping from 0mg to 5mg? ## Yes, it is likely that you will experience the side effects, again, if you up the dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have been on Prednisone 10mg for approx. four years, can I just stop taking it or do I need to taper off? My doctor said I could just stop so I did. Now I can't sleep, can't get comfortable, running nose, watery eyes, sneezing and cold shakes. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications? Do you wear comfortable, dry shoes?

I just switched from Suboxone 8mg(bup) 2(mg)Nal, to Subutex 8mg no Naloxone and they are the Activis brand. The SUBOXONE with naloxone WOULD LAST me 24hours. I've been on the Subutex now 2 days and I put the 8mg TABLET UNDER my tongue at 10am & by 6pm I start getting goosebumps I'm cold I feel jittery and just ugh I can't focus and I get off work 7 7:30 and I have had to take another 6-8 mg when I get home to make it comfortably through the night. But now at least I'm not throwing up every day sometimes twice a day... the naloxone made me super sick but now with this Subutex I need 16mg every 24 hours.... but the naloxone made me zombie like and I just felt depressed all the time. RAN OUT OF HYDROCOAPAP TAB 10-325MG, BUT HAVE TRAMADOL 50 MG, CAN I SUBSTITUTE?? ## Have you consulted your doctor? The Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and the Tramadol is very mild, though it is distantly related, so you aren't likely to get the same effective pain relief that you do from the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen tablet. ## If you are worried about your withdrawls, then yes you can. The max dose in 24 hours is 400mg. That's 8 pills. I did the same thing and took 200mg in the morning and 150 at night just to be safe. It will hold back the withdrawls and you will sleep comfortably. However, because its not an opiate, they will not "F" you up. You will not get HIGH from these. I'm quiting Opana using Suboxone. I've gradually come down from Opana ER 40 mg to 10 mg over a period of 6 months, and am switching today to Suboxone film. Dr told me to wait 24 to 36 hrs before starting Subs (wait till I can't stand the withdrawals any longer). Normally on 10 mg Opana I start to feel withdrawals within 12 hrs, can't get comfortable in my skin, can't sleep, restless leg etc. Problem is I ran out of 10 mg yesterday so the single last Opana I took was an ER 40 mg. It's been 30 hrs and still no noticable withdrawals. I don't want to start the Suboxone until feeling the withdrawals as instructed cause I don't want the Subs to kick in and suddenly block the Opana causing worse withdrawals. Hi. My doctor says that 60mgs of Codeine with 1000mg of Panadol is equivalent to 10mg of Morphine. Being that I'm on Oxycontin 80 mgs twice a day, he has said I need to only take 2 tablets of Codeine a day to be comfortable... though my pain has magnified. I am suffering from spinal stenosis in the 3rd, 4th & 5th lumber vertebrae. When I take Aceclofenac tab 100 mg I feel quite comfortable. Hello, I am currently 32 weeks pregnant, I am prescribed 10 mg Subutex a day, but really only take an average of 4 mg a day, sometimes less. I really had my mind set on coming off completely before I deliver and my doctor is 100% ok with me doing that if I feel comfortable doing it myself. I'm looking for success stories. My mom is 66. She's been on 20 MG of methadone for 3 yrs for degenerative disc disease, she's also been in a bad car wreck AND hit by a truck while walking across the street (10 yrs ago) so she's got many sources of pain. How many milligrams of Xanax is safe for a hundred pound dog to take to make it comfortable to give an enema? ## How many milligrams is SAFE? Well considering that xanax alone is nearly impossible to overdose on; a 100lb dog could "safely" take upwards of 500mg of xanax and not be harmed. That would be a good nap for sure! However that would be way too much. You did ask what was "safe" though. lol. In all reality it probably won't actually take any more than 2 mg or less.

Will Urimax 0.4 mg daily at bed time help? How long has this drug to be taken to get relief? ## I am 80years old. I have mild bph. yet no discomfort while passing urine. I just got on medicare and had been given my pain meds which are Hydromorphone 8 mg (120) and morphine sul. 60 mg 2 daily. My prior Dr had me on 100 mg of the morphine and 180 of the hydromorphone. I can see a pain specialist who takes insurance but don't know who.. Can anybody to go to. Can anybody refer me to some Drs that will write a reasonable amount of medicine so that I am not in pain. I was put on klonopin by a new med. doctor, for severe panic attacks and anxiety, that was brought on by a number of serious family problems. I have also been on 40 mg. of Celexa for 10 yrs, and 150 mg of wellbutrin for about 8 yrs. The new dr. just upped my Klonopin to I mg, 3 times a day. He totally took me off of the wellbutrin, without tapering. He cut my Celexa dosage in 1/2, and added 60 mg of Cymbalta a day THis all seems a bit extreme and scary to me.I really do not like him or feel comfortable with him. I am going to see a new med dr next week, who works with a group my therapist is affiliated with. My biggest concern is the klonapin dose being upped so much.I have only been on it for 12 days, and I do not feel that it has helped me with nightly panick attacks.It p uhh rd me to...

So I recently moved here to South Florida (Cutler Bay to be exact) from Nevada and I have been taking 60 10 mg Vicodin a month for 7 years with no need for increase for pain from endometriosis. I brought my records and prescription bottles with me when I moved thinking I would have no problems transferring to a new long term Dr. who could fill my scripts. NO SUCH LUCK.
