i have been suffering from IBS for quite long time i have done lots of treatment from many doctors but there is no remarkable difference. i can control IBS as long as i keep taking medicion i have almost become hopeless now i need your guidance desperately thanks for your cooperation take care bye.

I have been prescribed 2 capsules of 200mg Colospa Retard. I am 79 year, Male suffering following problems: - not passing smoothly stool; - bloated feeling in abdomen - constipated, segmented stool -abdominal pain sometimes -loss of hunger/appetite - after lunch noisy gastric movement in abdomen/GI region - not frequent but sometimes used cremafin M / diegene -but had temporary relief -gas formation constant -spasmic pain too is at times experienced Want to know if Colospa which has been prescribed by Physcian for 4 weeks is in order. I have nearly been on 2 capsules of 200 mg for two weeks. Experiencing not much of relief. Should I continue or it will have some side effects? How long it is to be taken? Bcoz of this her digestive system is so disturbed that she can't eat more than 2 chapatis. Although her hunger is normal she can't eat a good amount of food. I Have been suffering from stomach problem due to acidity and gas and it was found that i have H.Poly, so i have been given the medicine named Neuroday and normaxin, so kindly give us advise whether this treatment is OK. I was told by my doctor to take Orni o 500 mg twice a day. while I am taking this I feel giddiness, feeling of tired etc. Is there any side effects for this ,medicine. ## All medications carry the risk of side effects, regardless of what they are used to treat. dosage ## I only found some limited details about this medication. It appears to be available in India and contain Lactobacillus (a type of bacteria) for restoring healthy bacteria in the intestines. Also, finding details about dosages is vague because the information is presented in a way which i do not understand. sir actually i was having large instestine ulceration then doctor give me colospa retard and ulceration was healed but the problem is iam suffering from pain again now iam using meva sr, wht i can do to control my pain

I am 22 years old. I took colospa retard for a month. I wanted to know if colospa retard is just a relaxant for intestines, or if it can affect other muscles, like in prostate or bladder? For ex. Baclofen, which is muscle relaxant, can cause retrograde ejaculation. Can the colospa retard have the same effect? ## Its an anti spasmodic and really helps in ibs symptoms. And no it shouldn't cause retrograde ejaculation, if its happening to you, you should consult with your doctor.
