Colors Of Hydrocodone Tablets

This last prescription I got were white tablets with little green specs - one side has the letter V and the other side has 3594. I have only taken solid white tablets in the past for Hydrocodone Pills ## Hi Sandra, The one's marked V 3594 are simply made by a different manufacturer than what most people are used to seeing. Oblong white pills definitely seem to be the most commonly prescribed versions, while there are yellow, blue, pink, orange and green tablets as well. I've also seen the white ones with red specs. Keep in mind though that these colors and/or shapes are always subject to change depending upon the discretion of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!

When I first started picking up my Lortab 10/500 from my pharmacy, it was in pink tablet form. I asked the pharmacist why it was pink, and was told that it was a generic brand. I was also told that it was not as "effective" (potent-wise) as some other colors 10/500 came in. I asked which color had the most effectiveness for overall pain and was told the purple tablets were. After switching to the purple Lortab 10/500 tablets, I noticed a considerable difference in pain relief and duration. Actually, they look more like a bluish-purple. ## Hi Herman, It is true that generic brands are not as effective as brand name medications, generic medications are allowed (by the FDA) to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactiv...

I am used to taking the Yellow, generic 10/325 hydrocodone for a long time for chronic back pain from a car accident. They worked fine. Then I moved to LaSalle County in Illinois and they gave me white ones, three times. I know Watson was bought out by Activas. The worst white ones were from Walgreens! Does anyone know the manufacturer of the generic yellow hydrocodone / acetaminophen 10/325? And there is a BIG difference in pain relief regarding generic pain relievers! ## Unfortunately, the colors don't mean anything, so that is not enough for information for anyone to research this for you. Can you please post back with the markings on the tablets in question? That would enable someone to look into this for you. Thank you! As to possible differences, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of ...

I'm a Disabled Army Combat Veteran and I've had, to no surprise, a slew of different types of hydocodone, but recently the pills I've been issued have red or blue spots in them. I was told by my doctor that the spotted pills absorb into your body faster and therefore begin working faster and last longer, is this fact or fiction? ## Fiction! They are all regular release tablets that will take 15 to 20 minutes to start working and the speckles in some of them make no difference to that. That's just something that the manufacturer decided to do to their tablets to set them apart from the others available on the market. Learn more Vicodin details here. Any such colors and speckles are entirely up to whit and whim and mean nothing whatsoever to the actual absorbency rate of t...

difference between pink an blue hydrocodone acetaminophen 10-500 ## What are the markings on the tablets? That would enable me to give you more information about them, since the colors don't actually mean anything. I can guess that they are likely just from different manufacturers, but can't be certain without knowing more details. Learn more Vicodin details here. ## pink 3600 ,monograph ## does a hydrocone have an ip 110 on one side and a crease on the other and is white

Pink pill with darker pink specks, v, 3605. Why are some hydrocodone different colors but still have the v? ## Hello, Jopo! How are you? Because the V is just a manufacturers logo and actually has nothing to do with the contents of the tablets. The V logo is used by Vintage Pharmaceuticals on all of their products, including the ones that do not contain narcotics. The color also doesn't not mean anything, it is just something that the manufactured decided to do to their tablets. The one in question contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I used this treatment for more than three years. For almost a year the color of this treatment was pink but it was very expensive. I have been changed to the same treatment, but cheaper medicine, the color is light blue. I went to another pharmacy and they told me the treatment colors vary (white). My question is, is there a difference between them and are any of them better than the other? ## Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a generic, one of the name brands for it would be Vicodin. And when something is available as a generic, it's usually made by several different companies and there are no rules on how the tablets have to look, or what color they have to be. That's entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Learn more Vicodin details here. There is also no way to...

I take hydrocodone 10-.325 I take yellow color with a v on one side,is yellow good strength or is there stronger colors? ## The strength is determined by the amount of active ingredients not the color of the tablet ## @crossfire, BL is right in a sense, however one thing to note is that some manufacturers do color coordinate specific tablets according to their dosage. For example, Qualitest's 7.5/325 Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen tablet marked with V 36 05 is orange in color, while the yellow 10/325 tablets made by Qualitest with V 36 01 are yellow in color. Furthermore, Qualitest's 5/325 Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen tablets with V 3604 are white. Nevertheless, 10/325 is maximum dosage that you'll find in any Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen combination tablet. So all other tablets ...

is my girlfriend getting the right med for her pain? there are two different color pills in her bottle...one small lite green and one white...which is the hydocodone ? ## Without knowing what those markings are, I can't verify for you what the tablets contain. That is what lets us discover what is in them, the colors are actually irrelevant. Can you please post back with more information? It is highly possible that her pharmacy ran out of the product made by one manufacturer and had to finish filling her prescription with that from another company. My concern, however, is that since these tablets contain Acetaminophen, with the Hydrocodone, they are not usually small, they are usually a fairly large size.

I have been taking the Pink one for over seven yrs, for breakthrough pain from an injured neck which has been rebuilt from C-4 - C7. Can anyone tell me IF these are the same or is one stronger or different from the other? I have tried the white knock-off 7.5's in the past and got very sick from them. I need to find out IF there really is a difference? Thank You! ## I cannot tell you anything about them, without knowing the markings on the tablets, that is what identifies them and the dosage. The colors do not mean anything. If you can post back with these details, I will gladly check for you. Do you still have them, so you can provide the imprint? ## Oval white one side 5 other side 8p 648 ## The pink one, I believe is 10mg oxycodone and the white one is either a Percocet or Vicodin...

i have some lortabs that are pink but dont know if they are 10's or 5's could you help ## It's difficult to say the dosage you have, without knowing the imprint on the tablets, but here are some markings and dosages from some Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone combinations that are pink: 3600 V 500mg/10mg WATSON 3203 325mg/7.5mg WATSON 502 650mg/7.5mg 910 UCB 500mg/10mg Do any of these match the tablets in question?

which is the strongest pink hydrocone10mg or the blue 10mgs ? ## If they both contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone, then they are the same, the only difference may be in the amount of Acetaminophen in them, but I can't provide details on that from just the colors. Can you post back with more information, such as the markings on the respective tablets? Learn more Vicodin details here.

are the green hydrocodone loratab, or lorecett? also are they stronger than the blue 10s? ## I'm sorry, but I can't really tell you anything just from the colors, because they actually don't mean anything. Are there any markings on the tablets in question? If you can post back with this information, then I can answer your questions.
