long slender oblong tablet color white imprint k30 on one side. smooth on other side. pain medication ## This is NOT Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen! This is 500mgs of Acetaminophen by itself, no narcotics. This is a generic or store brand of extra strength tylenol. ## Just an additional note, depending on where you looked you may have seen K30 listed as a narcotic because there used to be a small round codeine tablet with that marking but it has been discontinued and is no longer available. Caplet shaped pills with K30 are just Acetaminophen.

I used this treatment for more than three years. For almost a year the color of this treatment was pink but it was very expensive. I have been changed to the same treatment, but cheaper medicine, the color is light blue. I went to another pharmacy and they told me the treatment colors vary (white). My question is, is there a difference between them and are any of them better than the other? ## Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a generic, one of the name brands for it would be Vicodin. That's entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Learn more Vicodin details here. There is also no way to...

Large, oblong, line in center, blue, says Watson 340 on it ## I think the marking on this tablet was actually WATSON 540, especially with it being blue and yes, it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Learn more Vicodin details here. This is a narcotic pain reliever, so it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. And there are a couple of important pieces of information that I need to add in regards to these tablets… The first is that they are now changing the color of these, due to the fact that there were people who were allergic to or sensitive to the dye in them. Thus, they are now being replaced by tablets that have the same marking and same ingredients, but which are white. The s...

blue ,oblong with watson 540...bottle read 10/500....but i also have yellow oblong with a V on one side and on the other side is 36/01...on that prescription bottle is 10/325...what is the difference and which is the stongest.. ## They both contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, the active ingredients in Vicodin, however, the Acetaminophen does help the Hydrocodone to work better, so the one with 500mgs of it would be stronger. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions?

difference between pink an blue hydrocodone acetaminophen 10-500 ## What are the markings on the tablets? That would enable me to give you more information about them, since the colors don't actually mean anything. I can guess that they are likely just from different manufacturers, but can't be certain without knowing more details. When I first started picking up my Lortab 10/500 from my pharmacy, it was in pink tablet form. I asked the pharmacist why it was pink, and was told that it was a generic brand. I was also told that it was not as "effective" (potent-wise) as some other colors 10/500 came in. I asked which color had the most effectiveness for overall pain and was told the purple tablets were. After switching to the purple Lortab 10/500 tablets, I noticed a considerable difference in pain relief and duration. Actually, they look more like a bluish-purple. ## Hi Herman, It is true that generic brands are not as effective as brand name medications, generic medications are allowed (by the FDA) to contain up to 20% more or less of the actual active ingredients. This factor, along with different inactiv...

My child was prescribed hydrocodone-apap 7.5-500 soln in an orange liquid. Also on the main bottle with the label that says Cephalexin for Oral Suspension, USP (250 mg/5ml) 100 ml when mixed. And the pharmacy doctor put 2 of 3 in red marker on bottle. I'm confused. Is the orange liquid suppose to make it easier for him to swallow. ## To be honest, I'm a little confused by your post. You're talking about 2 different medications. The Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is a narcotic pain reliever, though the Hydrocodone can also help treat couching and the Acetaminophen can help break a fever. The Cephalexin is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections. The color really means nothing, but most medications of this type are given to children in liquid form, sinc...

Has anyone filled their prescription for blue Watson 10/500 pills from any pharmacies over the phone? I got 90 that look like my CVS refill, but have the effect of a vitamin. Ripped off again. ## I think I was similarly scammed. The color was greenish, not blue like the regular Watson 10/500 and tasted salty. I had been called 20 times and finally succumbed. Is this your experience too. The phone number was a 305 exchange ## I purchased Norcos over the phone. Came in a vacuumed plastic bag. They were blue with WATSON 540 printed on them. The looked real but when you take them it is like you are on valium, you don't get pain relief. Purchased from a 321 exchange. Anyone else with the same experience? ## I have also received fake pills from a 321 exchange. They are not real and will n...

I Found a blottle that read HYDROCODOE/APAP ELX PMA I was just curious as to how strong it was, it's yellow..If that matters any. ## I'm thinking the "ELX" probably stands for Elixir, which is liquid. And from what I could gather, Hydrocodone Bitartrate + Acetaminophen Oral Solutions come in dosages of: 7.5 mg/500 mg per 15 mL. I noticed that this dosage has yellow dye in it as well if that helps: "In addition, the liquid contains the following inactive ingredients: ammoniated glyyerrhizin, dibasic sodium phosphate, citric acid, ethyl maltol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, sodium gluconate, sorbitol solution, with D&C Yellow No. 10 and FD&C Yellow No. 6 as coloring, and natural and art...

I have been taking the Pink one for over seven yrs, for breakthrough pain from an injured neck which has been rebuilt from C-4 - C7. Can anyone tell me IF these are the same or is one stronger or different from the other? I have tried the white knock-off 7.5's in the past and got very sick from them. I need to find out IF there really is a difference? Thank You! ## I cannot tell you anything about them, without knowing the markings on the tablets, that is what identifies them and the dosage. The colors do not mean anything. If you can post back with these details, I will gladly check for you. Does Watson make a generic 750/325ES If not why? Because all I can fine so far is the generic of 750/500 and would like to use less than 500. ## The ES stands for extra strength, so any version of this medication with the ES designation is going to have more Acetaminophen in it, since that's the intent. And yes, Watson actually does make a 7.5/325mg tablet. It is oval and peach in color with the marking WATSON over 3203 on one side and a score line on the opposite side of the tablet. Learn more Vicodin details here. However, if you're doctor has prescribed the 7.5/500 dosage, that is all any pharmacy is going to offer you, because you can't change the dosage yourself. I can now only get hydrocodone IP119 10/500 in the state where i live and i would like to know the difference between that and the blue lortab, which is what i am used to ## The tablet marked IP 119 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Lortab, which is a narcotic pain reliever. However, there is no blue name brand Lortab, so I can't tell you anything about the other tablet from just the color. Do you know who the manufacturer is, or the markings that were on them? ## Actually, the IP 119 is a hydrocodone and ibuprofen combination. The lortab will contain acetaminophen INSTEAD OF ibuprofen. Both are narcotic analgesics known as hydrocodone. ## No, even if you do a Google search, you will see that my post was correct and the tablet marked IP 1...
