Why is Viractin so hard to find? Is it being discontinued and if so, why? I've used it for years in conjunction with Abreva for cold sores and I love it but it keeps getting harder to buy and I don't understand why when it's such a great product! ## Viractin contains the active ingredient Tetracaine, which is a local anesthetic used to numb the area, topically.
