white long not scored pill with H 2 on one side and blank on the other. rounded on the ends ## H2 is actually 550 mg of Naproxen ( Anaprox ), which does provide pain relief but is totally different from Hydrocodone. This is actually considered an anti-inflammatory, whereas Hydocodone is a narcotic. ## Roy is absolutely correct, this is not a narcotic, nor related to one. This is a prescription strength of the medication your normally see sold over the counter in the name brand medication Aleve. ## I have crontic backpain and have been prescribed dyhydrocodiene and codiene phosphate at different times. What is the difference? ## Johos, both of those drugs are closely related to one-another and are typically prescribed for the same things. I am not sure why they would switch you between o...

small round orange ## The information provided in this post is not enough to confirm the identity of the pill in question. More specifics are needed, such as any markings on the tablet, because those are what enable them to be identified. And just to clarify, the actual medication name is Oxycodone, though it is frequently misunderstood. It is a very potent narcotic that has a high potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Is there anything I can help with? ## Interesting. I know that's supposed to be true and it may very well be so for the many, but I found it no more helpful than hydrocodone and switched back immediately.

I took 200mg codeine in cough syrup and usual .5 mg of xanax at 830. 2 hours later I had a splitting headache and took 50mg of tramadol. I'm slightly concerned because of brochitis and respiratory issues I've read about. Is this safe? ## My findings state that there are in fact potentially unsafe interactions that apply to all three of those medications. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: Applies to: Codeine, Ultram (tramadol) "Ask your doctor before using Codeine and Tramadol together. Using these medications together can increase your risk of seizures, breathing problems, and other side effects. If your doctor prescribes these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special tests to safely take both medications. Tell your doctor if you...

I'm in Houston. There is so much syrup here its like the wild west. It's crazy how it's gone worldwide as far as recreational use. ## Didn't the discontinuation of syrup from activist in 2014 slow down the trade down there? ## @gladiatorways, It is crazy how there so many people who take allergy, cough & cold medicine recreationally as if it's chocolate ice cream or something delicious. When I was little I used to feel like throwing up those miniature cap-fulls of cough syrup, they'd taste so bad (not to mention possible side effects). For the sake of those people's health, it'd be a shame to see any of them catch a real serious cold and become immune to the medication's effects, due to having a high tolerance. @Bill, Re: "Didn't the disco...

I'm taking 500 mg naproxen and 2each apap/codiene #3 300/30 for sciatic nerve pain. I'm Still in Pain! What can I take in addition to this combination without putting myself in further health risks? (I have Tramadol, Alieve and arthritis strength Tylenol on hand) ## Hello, Frances! How are you? Are you sure that it's sciatic? It's kind of funny, but given all of my knowledge of medications, side effects, and etc. I didn't know until recently, when my husband mentioned it, that sometimes the sacral area is thought to be related to the same area, and he was right. Totally changed how I handle the pain. As to the medications, given how much you've already taken, you need to consult your doctor, because it looks like you might need a stronger medication to alleviate ...

I get severe headaches/ migraines that last for days with NO relief unless I took the blue pills fiorecet with butalbital caffeine AND codiene. After years of taking it and never getting addicted. I never even asked for an increase in strength or frequency! My stupid Dr. decides to stop it and give me massive doses of ibuprophen (advil) saying it would work the same, I reminded him that I had started seeing HIM because nothing otc worked! He said I was having rebound headaches from them. Well, I found out that for me, it was the butalbital that caused the rebound headaches not the codiene which was the only part of that pill combo besides the caffeine that helped. I now have a prescription for straight codiene (codeine sulfate) and it WORKS! I take 1 I don't get drowsy and it takes ...

I am so sad that this is no longer available in a tablet, but only in capsule form. I usually take 3/4 of a pill and chop it and carry the pieces in a small plastic bag. Why would you take more medication than you need to solve a problem. I see on this blog that several have been chopping the pill in half, and like me this is one of the only resources I have left in medication for migraines. I'm allergic to a lot of medication. If only someone knew how we already suffer, they'd never make it harder for us. ## So relieved that I am not alone in my need and want for Fiorinal in the tablet form. The capsules do nothing to relieve the pain and upset stomach of a migraine headache. Fioricet is just as ineffective. Does anyone know if the tablets are available from a Canadian Pharmacy...

Ok so, a few years back I was on vicodin. They prescribed me suboxone. And after a yr of that I didn't get to the doctor in time and they switched doctors and it was just a hot mess. So I withdrew off of it. And I was not working at the time. It was seriously the worst 3 weeks of my life. So now fast forward to 3 months ago. I hurt my back playing volley ball, my brother offered me one of his vicodin. I thought since I had been off of it, it would be fine. And it was. But every month or so, I'd ask him for one. That was ok in my mind. But then every month turned into every week.. every week turned into every other couple of days... and now for maybe 2 months now I've been on vicodin 5 to 6 times a day. And I want to detox. Now my brother only has dilaudid. So he said he will...

Is Hydrocodone Apap 10 325 safe to take if I am allergic to Codeine ? ## That's actually a good question, because Hydrocodone is a derivative of codeine. However my mom is allergic to codeine as well and she's on the same dose of Hydrocodone apap (10/325) right now and hasn't had any bad reactions other than the typical itching sensation that is sometimes associated with this combination. She was also initially worried about an allergic reaction but hasn't experienced one. With codeine she would break out in hives and whatnot. So I can only base my answer off of her experience, in that it should be fine since it's a derivative of codeine and not actual codeine. I hope this helps! ## They aren't the same substance, though they are distantly related, so being aller...

Mexico pharmacies are faking a NUMBER of pills. A HUGE AMOUNT OF THEM are taking bottles of other medications and putting fake stickers on the bottles and selling them as other medications. For example, they take stickers of bottles of flexeril/Cyclobenzaprine and sell them as ambien! I brought a bottle back and had them tested by labs. They tested for what I thought! Cyclobenzaprine! They tried to sell me codeine, which was in fact tramadol! They also tried selling fake lortab, vicoden, etc. I didn't see those pills as I did not need them, but the stickers looked the same. The fake stickers look just like this pic. They keep a lot of fakes under the counter in a basket. So if they pull something out of a basket, not in a case, BEWARE. Know what you are getting in mexico, because I ...

Is it safe for me to let her have my 3/4 bottle from October???? ## Hi Lucy, I checked to see if there are any reactions between the active ingredients in "Hydrocodone Apap" and "Robitussen + Codeine" and my findings state that there are some potentially unsafe interactions. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: " Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially ...

Oblong white pill with no markings on either side; between 1/2 - 3/4 long by 5/16 wide ## IF it has no markings, then it is not a U.S. prescription medication of any type. They are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. Where was it found/obtained? Was it in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## It was given to me by a co-worker claiming it was some kind of tyl/codiene pill. Found it fishy due to no markings wondered if it was generic plain tylenol or possibly Tyl/cod from another country? Canada? ## I have found 2 white long pills that are blank one side and Tylenol ER on the other what are they? ## Yes --- the plain white round pills are Tylenol with codeine. There are no markings whatsoever on these pills. I just got a bunch of Tylenol #4's from a friend who said he go...

I have been taking lortab5/500 for several years due to chronic pain from severe injuries, that are permanent.due to fda,my doctor had to change medicine.i am now taking Tylenol 3 with codeine.how many of the Tylenol can I take at one time or what can I take with it to measure up to the same as the lortab, that would give the same effects?thanks. ## Hello, Miranda! How are you? Actually, given the potency difference, these are almost equivalent and you shouldn't notice a big difference in efficacy. No, there is nothing you can add to make them stronger and you can't take multiples, due to the Acetaminophen, since taking too much of it in a day can be fatally toxic. If they really aren't handling your pain, you'll need to see your doctor for assistance. Is there anything el...

I have a pill that is cream colored. No markings just a slit in the middle of it. Is this ibuprofen 800mg and codiene ## There is no tablet available in the U.S. that has 800mgs of Ibuprofen and Codeine.
