little white tablrt t ## Can anyone tell me if Codeine Phosphate 30 mg tablets will relieve the pain that a percocet 10/325 will? ## yes..maybe no. We all react differently, to different medications...and have differing situations ( how long taking? ) However, in light of finding this very wonderfully run website...here's my 2cents: Yes, it will, it usually works at a very much lessor effective rate because it has to be metabalized (?) by your liver...into morphine. So, 30 mgs will work compartivly with a percoset 7.5...in my body. I have been in pain management for 26 years...perfect record & results: Intractible tenent chronic pain from a left hip shattered into many pieces...twice, and broken severely twice...the final brake came with a bonus injury! I compound fractured my l...

can you tell me how many of these tablets would result in an overdose? ## There is really no definitive answer to such a questions, because there are several different factors that have a bearing on it. The amount that may cause an overdose in one person may not be the same as the amount that will do so in someone else, because their overall health can be different, their tolerance to narcotics, other medications they are on and etc. Are there any other questions or comments? ## To answer your question bruz 800mg is the standard o.d rate, but depending on your body weight some people can o.d from just 250mg of codeine. ## I take at least 10 - 30mgs of codiene a day and it is a morphine dirivative pain killer.u can overdose on 5 or 50.just depends on ur body folks.be carefull

is it ok to drink alcohol whilst taking codeine phosphate 30mg 4 times a day ## It is not recommended that you use alcohol while taking these medications, because it can aggravate the side effects. Codeine can cause nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth and the alcohol will just make it worse. If you do, you have to be very careful, because you will be more impaired than usual from the alcohol, one drink would be almost the same as drinking 2 and so on. Are there any questions or comments?

Hi, I was prescribed 180mg of codeine phosphate for on-going back pain, BUT I decided to give subutex a go, as advised by a friend. However since taking subutex for just 7 weeks @ 10mg I absolutely hate them. I'm depressed & my anxiety has got worse :( Could going back on codeine help with stopping the awful subutex? Also, the codeine did help my pain, subs don't! Any advice would be gratefully received... Thanks in advance ## Hello, Vixen3! How are you? No, you need to be in full withdrawal, before you can take the Codeine, again. The Subutex tends to take a stronger hold on your opiate receptors and prevents others from having any affect. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such...

I purchased diclofenac sodium & codeine phosphate tablets 50mg, but I cant find any images to identify it as such. It came in a foiled back pop out sleeve of 10. It's a light peach or pink color with a score on one side and nothing on the other. It also says Duranzo on it. My vision is not so good so i cant make out the pharmaceutical co. Can you help me please? ## Hello, Mini! How are you? This combination isn't available in the U.S., it is a foreign medication from India. Duranzo is listed as containing Diclofenac and Codeine, but since foreign medications aren't regulated like U.S. prescription drugs, there's no way to confirm that's what you've received. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit formin...

Which is the strongest painkiller: Codeine Phosphate and paracetamol OR Dihydro - Codeine Thank you ## There actually aren't any conclusive studies showing that one is more potent than the other, so they are generally considered to be equivalent. Hi, I've been taking codeine phosphate, or co-proxamol, dihydrcodeine, etc. for 16 years for necrotic arthritis and lower spine damage/trapped nerves, etc. Two questions. What would be a sensible amount of oxycodone for a doctor to prescribe? Mine reckoned 2 x 5mg daily and they had no effect what so ever.. Second question, if I sleep more than 4 hours at any time, day or night, even if I take 2 x 30 mg dihydrocodeine as I fall asleep, I wake up hyper-ventilating. Could this be caused by my body having gotten used to compensating in my autonomous breathing reaction and now when codeine gets too low it speeds up too much? ## The breathing issue actually sounds like you may have sleep apnea, which the codeine could contribute to, but only your doctor can give you a definitive diagnosi...

I have a patient who takes psychotherapy from me and suffers from various slight psychological and neurological symptoms.
