round, white, scored on one side, nothing else;no imprint code nothing. tablet ## Sorry, if there is no imprint then there is no way to be certain of what it is, short of having it lab tested. It cannot be a prescription drug available in the U.S. though, as by law they are all required to have an imprint on them to enable them to be identified according to manufacturer, drug and dosage. Since it has no marking, it is more than likely something over the counter, but there is no way to say for sure what. There are many, many unmarked white pills on the market.

It is found naturally in the sap of the opium poppy, Papaver somniferum.[3][5] It is typically used to treat mild to moderate degrees of pain.[3] Greater benefit may occur when combined with paracetamol (acetaminophen) or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as aspirin or ibuprofen.[3] Evidence does not support its use for acute...

i .have been prescribed codein [3o/500] and taking them for about 20years.i cant remember what for.i take 8 a day.how dangerous is this to my health.i suffer a lot of stomach problems,i now have no appetite and i have chronic depression.can anyone tell me what damage has been done to my health. THANKS!! ## My opinion is that is you have been taking ANY medication for so long that you have forgotten what they were originally prescribed for, there is definitely a cause for concern. The fact that you take 8 per day and each pill has 500 mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol) in it, the total amount of acetaminophen you take per day is 4000 mg, which is the threshold for maximum recommended dosage for the drug. That is if you don't take any other acetaminophen-containing medications on top of th...

If you are allergic to codeine would you be allergic to tramdol? ## Hi Vanessa, According to addictionblog.org, Tramadol does not contain codeine. "Tramadol is a synthetic drug. This means that Tramadol is created in laboratories and is the result of chemical reactions. It is NOT a natural product, like codeine, and is called an opioid due to its chemical make up." That being said, you shouldn't have an allergic reaction to Tramadol, but everyone reacts to medication differently so I would definitely speak with your doctor before taking it. Is it safe to take codesoft while planning for pregancy. ## Hi Pinky, Well it looks like Codesoft is simply a combination of Evening Primose Oil (cod liver oil) and vitamin E; which in my opinion is safe to take while planning for pregnancy. This isn't a drug (it can be found in many whole foods, like cod, salmon, etc.) and unless you are somehow allergic to Vitamin E or Omega 3 fatty acid then this is fine to take at any time. I am not a doctor, but since these are natural ingredients found in common food there shouldn't be any risks. Keep in mind eating fresh whole foods is a much better option than supplementing single ingredients. ## Respect Sir, With in one month my left breast in small tumor with pain I am consult 2 doctor, Suggest first doctor operation but second doctor ...

Hi, I've been taking codeine phosphate, or co-proxamol, dihydrcodeine, etc. for 16 years for necrotic arthritis and lower spine damage/trapped nerves, etc. Two questions. What would be a sensible amount of oxycodone for a doctor to prescribe? Mine reckoned 2 x 5mg daily and they had no effect what so ever.. Second question, if I sleep more than 4 hours at any time, day or night, even if I take 2 x 30 mg dihydrocodeine as I fall asleep, I wake up hyper-ventilating. Could this be caused by my body having gotten used to compensating in my autonomous breathing reaction and now when codeine gets too low it speeds up too much? ## The breathing issue actually sounds like you may have sleep apnea, which the codeine could contribute to, but only your doctor can give you a definitive diagnosi...

These pills are GOOD! I just got a prescription from mexico (50mg of codeine). I only took half tho cuz 50mg of codeine is a lot to take at one time. It worked great for several hours. ## Just wanted to post the medication dosing guidelines for Codeine, in case you didn't know: "The usual adult dosage for tablets is 15 mg to 60 mg repeated up to every four hours as needed for pain. The maximum 24 hour dose is 360 mg." "Adult doses of codeine higher than 60 mg fail to give commensurate relief of pain and are associated with an appreciably increased incidence of undesirable side effects." "When the patient no longer requires therapy with codeine sulfate, doses should be tapered gradually to prevent signs and symptoms of withdrawal in the physically dependent patien...
