Can I take Cobadex Forte as a Prenatal Vitamin since it contains Folic Acid. ## YES NO PROBLEM IN TAKING cobadex forte as a prenatal vitamin becoz it is prescribed for even those who not eat food, mis their food! EVEN I WAS PRESCRIBED FOR THIS AS A PRENATAL VITAMIN! ## I have to agree with Susanna on this one. I think that most multivitamin supplements can be used for prenatal purposes, as long as it contains the ingredients you require. So just because a vitamin supplement isn't marketed as prenatal, doesn't necessarily mean that you cannot use it for that reason. Please feel free to post back your experience with using it as a prenatal vitamin and if you notice a difference when taking it or not.

The said medicine is not available in the Indian market. I am a heart patient - had CABG about 14 years ago. Medicines I am taking are : Deplatt CV 20 (1 tab daily), Monotrate OD 50 (1 tab daily), Valzaar 80 (2 tabs daily), Nebicard 10 (1 tab daily), Flavedon MR 35 mg (2 tabs daily); for prostrate problem, I am taking Urimax 0.4 (1 tab daily); for arthritis, I am taking Folitrax 7.5 (1 tab weekly). Along with these I am taking Cobadex Czs (1 tab daily) and Folvite 5 (1 tab daily). Is Folvite 5 necessary? I understand Cobadex Czs also has 'Folic acid'. Is any of these medicines superfluous? I am 64 years old.

I had a mild cough so i went to the pharmacy to get some antibiotic... Later to see he gave me 4 tablets (disprin, cobadex, celin and azithromycin). After taking all these now I'm feeling even more worse. For e.g.; increase in body temp, headache and body pain. Is it a side effect or some contraindication of combining all these drugs? ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects. The NIH lists others as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, dry mouth, and diarrhea. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are these the only medications you take?

I had B12 defiiciency. Now it is in d normal range, but just above the lower level. So, in a yr, 3 mths I take COBADEX. Sometimes, I get chest pain. ECG & stress test are normal. In cardiac CT, no calcification & other irregularity observed except 1.5 cm intramyocardial bridging. Dr has said it is OK. No medicine prescribed. Whether I should take ecosprin 75 as pre cautionery measure? ## Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and, in such cases, it is often given for its blood thinning abilities. However, if your tests are not showing any major problems, you may not need to use it. Have you asked your doctor's advice? Have they done any tests on your stomach? I believe it is a multivitamin tablet with cobalt. Is it good for improving strength in women patients who find it difficult to walk and have a bit swelling in hands? Thanks ## Cobadex Forte is a multivitamin supplement, that contains: calcium pantothenate 50 mg, folic acid 1500 mcg, nicotinamide 100 mg, vitamin B1 10 mg, vitamin B12 15 mcg, vitamin B2 10 mg, vitamin B6 3 mg and vitamin C 150 mg. However, the only way to see if it will help with your problems, is to try it and see. It really depends on what is causing your problem, if it is due to a deficiency in these vital nutrients, then it may help. Has your doctor advised you to use these?

can I use mentanx to treat my non-diabetic neuropathy? ## Metanx is just a proprietary formulation of several B vitamins, so there is really nothing that says it can only be used by people who are diabetic. Has your doctor recommended you take it? ## I have not talked it over with the Dr. but will before starting any new meds. Thanks ## I am 81 years old. Non-diabetic. My sciatic nerve pinches and that causes pain in my hips and downward. It also increases if I'm standing or walking.
