i've just started this medication , i'm wondering just what the white pills do ? ## CO Etidrocal is a medication that consists of 2 tablets, to be taken at different times. The white tablet contains 400mgs of Etidronate and the blue tablets contain calcium, it is used to help prevent or treat Osteoporosis. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach irritation and heartburn. Learn more: Are there any comments or questions? ## Can I use apo-alendronate once a week and co etidrocal every evening ? Is this OK ? Safe? ## I am taking this for osteoporosis. Do I have to take it night? It is much easier for me to take it first thing in the morning and then wait two hours to eat. At bedtime just doesn't work well for me.

I had breast cancer and I'm on letrozole and Co etidrocal and it causing me a lot of pain on my left side were I had breast cancer how can I get relief from the pain ## Hello, Brenda! How are you? Medications, such as CO Etidrocal are well known to cause these types of side effects in some people that take them. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness and headaches. There really is no relief for it, so to speak, you may need to stop taking it or switch to a different medication. I started the medication about 3 months ago. Lately I have been experiencing a cold feeling in my hands and lower legs below the knee as well as my feet.
