I am on Clonidine for anxiety and other reasons. I take 0.1mg to 0.2mg at a time. Today I was watching my grandkids when I took 0.2mg around 3:30 - 4:00. But in some cases, this could put some people in danger, so in such situations, it is always best to seek emergency medical advice, via an ER doctor, or urgent care c...

I've been on the clonidine 0.2mg transdermal for almost a year with very good results. For about 2 wks now my bp has been around 150/90. Could the clonidine be losing effect on my bp? Before starting clonidine my bp was 200/110 and hr was 140 for weeks. Lisinopril 40mg did nothing but give me severe nausea and diarrhea. ## Hello, Buffy! How are you? Yes, your body will eventually get used to anything that you ingest for a long period of time and it will no longer be as effective. Sometimes it takes years for some people, but for others it may take only a few months. My grandchildren both take Clonidine for ADHD. One of them is out of their prescription of the 0.3mg pill. I'm a 38 yr old black female and I recently decided to start a family. I was taking losartan 100mg daily, clonidine HCL 0.2mg twice daily, and hctz 25mg daily to control my blood pressure. I noticed when I started taking the Olmesartan Medoxomil about 9 months ago it has a pretty bad smell. I took it back to the pharmacy and told them to smell the bottle and they agreed but said they all smell like that. I have noticed recently swelling in my feet and ankles, also a rash on the lower part of my legs. ## I was originally prescribed Benicar 40/20 but when they came out with a generic (olmesartan) i was required to switch over to that. I have taken these two medications for years and have had no side effects at all. I know everyone can have different effects I have never had any issues (yet). ## Hello, Sue! How are you doing?
