Clonazepam False Positive Drug Test

I go to a methadone clinic, a nurse forced drug screen showed positive for xanax and clonazepam metoolites. I have not taken klonopin for two years, the clinic is adament that I had to have taken it,, and I am 100% sure I did not. My Meds are methadone, xanax, lamictal, diovan, celexa, synthroid, amatriptaline, ambien, compazine. My over the counter meds are, nyquil (migraine treatment along with the compazine) calcium, prenatal vitamin, B12, D3. please help, my take home status will be revoked, and I know I didn't do it.. ## Ok update. They claim that the drug company again tested down the urine and the same results showed. i have not taken klonopin for 6 years and it showed up on a drug screen. is there anything that can make it show up falsely? ## There are some other medications that can cause false positives. Hi, I'm in an opiate treatment methadone program.... I showed up positive for oxazepam, but my medications are clonazepam, fluoxetine, hydroxyzine, and testosterone cypionate.... They reduced my dose by ten milligrams and said I must be taking other drugs but I am not.... Is there a reason it showed up as that? I take 1mg of Lorazepam AS NEEDED for anxiety. I was rushed to the hospital and while there they did a urine drug test that showed up negative for Lorazepam (or any benzo for that matter). I took a Lorazepam the morning before. Since it showed up negative, I have been discharged as a patient due to noncompliance. How is that even possible, much less fair? Hi everyone. My lawyer just called me and said I tested positive on my urine test. I take HYDROXYZINE PAM 50-100mg (for sleep), 15 MG 5 times a day of BUSPIRONE HCL, and CLONAZEPAM 1MG 3 times a day. I’ve never failed a drug test before. I have been taking zquil (alcohol free) for when I’m having a really hard time sleeping. This contains DIPHENHYDRAMINE HCI. My fiance has been taking klonopins for a couple of years n recently tested positive for marijuana but does not smoke marijuana. Could klonopins be the reason for the false positive? ## No, the active ingredient in Klonopin, which is Clonazepam, hasn't been known to cause false positives for THC. Was he taking anything else? I am desperately trying to find out if Remeron + Clonazepam can cause a false positive for Restoril.. I stand a great deal to lose over this unfortunate test result and I'm at my wits end. i recently tested positive for amphetamines during an oral swab drug test. i currently am taking a number of perscription medications, Buspirone, Clonazepam, Mirtazapine, Venlafaxine, & Quetiapine. I also take 800mg Ibuprofen as needed and an asthmatic inhaler when needed. I was wondering if any of these medications alone or combined could create a false-positive on the drug test i took? I take Clonazepam, Depakote and Sertraline. I'm involved with CPS and was told that my meds can make me test positive for methamphetamines. Is this true? I do not take anything beyond what I am prescribed. I need some answers as it's preventing me from getting my kids. ## No, none of the medications you've listed have been known to cause false positives for it. I had a pre-employment 10 panel urine test done at LabCorp and resulted through e-Drug Test. I was taking oxycontin, adderall, allegra, seroquel and clonazepam. It resulted positive for amphetamines (from the adderall) and negative for benzodiazepines (although my use of clonazepam was daily and long term). The problem is it tested POSITIVE for propoxyphene. I simply do not understand it. I even paid to have it sent to a second lab to be retested because I had never taken propoxyphene (darvocet, darvon, etc). It was positive at the second lab as well. Propoxyphene was taken off the market years ago. I need to be accountable for this, but how can I prove that I didn't take the medication? I tested positive for klonopin approx 8-10 days after I took a 2 mg. Is there any way of making them believe it is a false positive? I am on 4 mg of xanax a day and 80 milligrams of methadone for pain management. My dr warned me after this happened 1 year ago if it happened again i was done.
