Clindamycin 300 Mg How Many Times You Take It

I'm very scared about bad consequences of clindamycin.

I took 300 mg of clindamycin, 3 times a day for 8 days. I finished it 2 days ago. Towards the end, I had a day or two of loose stool. So I went on the internet to read about the side effects of clindamycin. And now I'm very scared. Many people seem to get C. Difficile infection during or after the period that they took clindamycin. The dentist who prescribed it and the pharmarcist didn't mention this risk to me. Is this risk very likely? What can I do to minimize the risk?
