Why would a dental surgeon recommend a round of this antibiotic during the follow up to wisdom teeth extraction? And no, one that old will have lost most of its efficacy and taking it could result in your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. I have read every question and reply on this forum and not one time does it mention how long it takes for this particular antibiotic to leave your system. I took three 150mg doses yesterday. I have to under go a pap smear test on Feb 4th, 2017. My gynecologist prescribed clindamycin and clotrimazole for me to take till Feb 3rd, 2017. Hi, I've been on Clindamycin 150mg x3, 3 times a day to treat SI Joint MRSA. I've taken this for 11months. I started jogging (I use to be an elite marathon runner) 3 months ago. No problems.. just the typical shin splints and common running injuries. During the past month I'm experiencing weakness in legs and extream soreness in my calf muscles, to a degree that I can only walk for 10min. Can two antibiotics be used at the same time?
