I take one tab of Clavix As 150 daily after my break fast , I also take sugar medicine , Amyral 1mg , Pioglit MF 15, to maintain sugar level. Is there any side effect of Clavix As 150 due which the sugar level is getting affected. ## Clavix-AS contains the active ingredient Clopidogrel and Aspirin, it is used to thin the blood and prevent clotting. Amyral contains the active ingredient Glimepiride, it and the Pioglitazone are used to help lower and control blood sugar. There are no problems listed in relation to blood sugar, the Diabetes medications and the Clavix-AS, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. Are there any other questions?

Hi, my mother underwent an angioplasty last month and she is taking plavix and ecosprin along with other medicines. Now the doctor has suggested that we can start using clavix instead of plavix as plavix is very expensive. But I'm sceptical about it and would like to know wether Clavix is really as good as Plavix. I m prescribed to take one tab daily of 3 medicine : telma 40, nebistar 2.5mg & clavix as 150. By mistake I took second dose just after 8.00 hrs in the late evening at 10pm, of all these three medicines. Is there any serious risk ? if yes, then what is the remedy ?

which is the substitute for CLAVIX-AS 75 I can get from Greece ## Hi, Victor! How are you? I don't know what's available in Greece, so I'm not sure what the name brand would be… However, the active ingredients in Clavix-AS are Clopidogrel and Aspirin, so what you could do is go to your doctor or a pharmacy and ask them for an equivalent medication with the same ingredients. I take Metolar XR 50, Cardace H 5 in the morning and Clavix 75 and Novastat TG 10 in the night. I used have disturbed sleep in the nights with dreams and occasionally dizziness in the morning between 9 to 11 AM. Are these side effects and can I put up with them. I had open heart surgery in 2006 and taking Carca 6.25 morning & Night, Clavix As75 afternoon and Lipicure-20 mg, Cardace 10 mg in the night. Now I am given TAZLOC -40. Telmisartan tablets IP 40 mg instead of Cardace-10 mg to avoid cough at times. ## Hello, Thiyagarajan! How are you doing? Ultimately, you need increased blood flow, these medications thin the blood, so thus, you do not get the needed blood flow. I had a heart attack 14 years back.Now i am 46 yrs.
