I have been taking this medication for 7 days and off of it since a week and still have severe side effects, abdominal cramps, severe headaches, dizziness, unsteadiness... How long is it expected to last? It was prescribed with Ciprofloxacin to me and I take Entrophen on a regular basis... ## Have things improved any? Have you consulted your doctor? I was prescribed ciprofloxacin for five days by my dentist and on the forth day I suddenly developed severe lower back pain, and generalized aches and pain which have lasted for past month and only gradually beginning to subside. I only suspected the ciproxin when a friend was taking it for chest infection and developed pain in Achilles tendon and is finding it difficult to walk. ## I was prescribed ciprofloxin hcl 500 mg tabs for a tooth infection.
