I need to know what is it and thanks. ## This is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. ## what other types of infections ## My doctor prescribed this for me for a UTI & I got terribly ill. Bad diarreah, stomach pain, & just plain sick for 4 days. My BM's are still not normal & still feel a sick stomach. Is this normal. I will not take it again!

have a sinus infection ## can I eat dairy prodicts with this med ## Sinus infections are actually rarely caused by bacterial infections and therefore taking antibiotics for most sinus infections is 'not indicated' since antibiotics are only indicated for bacterial infections. In addition, Cipro has a rare but serious possibility of causing a severe condition known as Cipro Tendonitis. Again, while it's rare, it can lead to lifelong disability! Since sinus infections are rarely caused by bacteria, that would be awful to have become disabled after taking a drug that you didn't even need in the first place, wouldn't it? You may want to speak to your doctor about the need for this drug.

Usual dosage ## Before a recent trip I had miexd three types of pills in one bootle. Now I can't identify the Cipro which I need for a UTI. The pill I think is Cipro is round and white and says CF on one side Capital letter G on the other. Is there a way to identify pills. Thnaks ## Yes, CF G is 250mgs of Ciprofloxacin, the antibiotic. ## What is the shelf life of ciprofloxacn 250 mg tab? ## Well this medication doesn't ever get dangerous, if it goes past about 18months old, it does start to lose some effectiveness, so where you used to take 1 pill you may now have to take 2 to get the full beneficial dosage. My concern though is you self-treating. You should never do this as this antibiotic may not be appropriate for your current condition and you also run the risk of creating drug resistance.

I went to the emergency clinic and determined I have severe UTI. I was prescribed phenazopyridine 200mg and cipro 250mg for a three day treatment. I'm just I tie day two and I am absolutely miserable. Painful and requiring urinantion. I do t know what else to do as I'm exhausted and in severe discomfort... ## Hello, Megan! How are you? if I cut ciprofloxacin 500 in half will it be the same as taking a 250 mg pill because 500 is too strong for me and I am ok with the lower dose. ## You should take the dosage prescribed by your doctor. Hello! I just started yesterday on 1 dose of Teva 5312 every 12 hours. For a urinary track infection. But I feel very anssious and tiered and my body aches a lot. Is that the correct quantity of milligrams or should it be 250 every 12 hours ? Also how many days should I take it? 3 or 5? ## You should take it as prescribed. it has a v or arrow shape on the front ## I knew this one seemed familiar, but I just wasn't making the connection, then today I searched a bit differently and finally stumbled on it.. It's actually meant to be the Cobalt Laboratories logo and CR 250, because it contains 250mgs of Ciprofloxacin, which is an antibiotic. Sorry the response took so long.
