I have had a chest infection now for 6 weeks. Been prescribed above but not seeing any results yet. I am an Asthma sufferer and have been on a maintenance dose of prednisolone for 46 years. I am currently being prescribed 30mg daily for 2 weeks. I just cannot get rid of the breathlessness andf feel quite ill. Any ideas on this antibiotic or any other that you may have taken for the same symptons that did work. thanks Moggs

i have hypertension pace maker recently developed pain in knee perscribed cipzox ## i use cip zox for my back pain,which i am suufring from last 20 years,but i started using cipzox from last 3 years,i dont use it regularly,but use it when pain is untolrable, but from last 2 months i noticed that whenever i use it i start feeling weakness,specially my legs. please let me know is it the side effect of cibzox or else,also is it safe to use cibzox.

cip zox recommended dosage ## Cipzox contains the active ingredients Clorzoxazone (500mgs), Diclofenc (50mgs) and Paracetamol (500mgs). This combines drugs that treat Rheumatoid arthritis, with addition nonsterodal anti-inflammatories. I can't find regular dosing information. Was this prescribed by your doctor? What did they recommend? ## I take 2 of these suckers when nothing else works and within 15 minutes I can move. Be sure to take them with food ... milk is considered food if you are just not feeling hungry or in too much pain to butter some toast.

I have had an Asthma attack now for 6 weeks. I have taken amoxycillan for 4 of these weeks but my phlegm is still green. I was caught out in the rain in June and 3 days later started with a runny nose etc. I am very breathless and find cooking for the family really difficult as I cannot breath. Any ideas. I do have some Zoxon 500mg, should I change the antiobiotic over to these as I believe they are for a wide spectrum of infections. I have suffered Asthma for my entire life (70 years), been on daily prednisolone for 50 years now but cannot get down below 30mg a day.for the past 5 weeks. Any ideas. I'm not panicking yet. I am female and have suffered for 6 years with inflammation & painful passing of urine since an operation for prolapse of rectum. Repeated bacterial infection has been treated with antibiotics. I have now been prescribed 3 months treatment of Zoxan 4 mg (1 tab daily) but after 10 days am having considerable side effects and no decrease in difficulty & pain in passing urine - if anything inflammation is increasing. I would like to know if Zoxan 500 is used to treat blood infection. If so, for what level of infgection it is used. Mild, average or serious? ## Ciprofloxacin is reported to be the active ingredient in Zoxan. Ciprofloxacin is used to treat a number of infections including: infections of bones and joints, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, malignant otitis externa, respiratory tract infections, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, anthrax, chancroid, among others. The term "among others" is very vague, so I think it best to contact your doctor to confirm its use for blood infection. I personally couldn't find any info relating it to that treatment, but your local doctor or pharmacy should be able to clarify that for you.

I took 4 tablets of zoxan 500 on an interval of 12 hrs.I was being treated for a bacterial infection on foreskin.I am now experiencing rashes on my body.
