Cifran 500

I am a cancer patient 85 Years of age with a permanent colostomy.Recently I took medication -Cifran 500 tablets+Rantac tablets after prescription. What are the adverse effects? In particular will it cause constipation/hardening of stoma discharge?

I got severe diarrhea as a result of taking cefixine + dicloxaclin 200 for an infection in my injured toe. Can i take cifran 500 / ciprofloxacin hydrochloride to fix this? ## The operative problem here is that you got diarrhea from an antibiotic, which is a normal side effect and usually goes away within several days of finishing your course of the drug. This means that taking another antibiotic, the Ciprofloxacin that you mentioned, isn't going to clear up the diarrhea, that was caused by the other one, it will only make it worse and prolong it. Another antibiotic also isn't going to help anything that isn't cause by an actual infection. Are there any other comments or questions? ## I have been suffering from a fever for 25 days. Hey, just need to know what the following medications treat: cifran-500, innospore cream / room, doxytet and metazole-400, coz that's what I got from the pharmacy this morning after seeing an abscess on my boyfriend's genitals. Hi I had a pain in my abdomen which spread to my left testicle it was very painful,I then went to a doctor who gave me cifran 500 tablets and some pain killers,I'm into my 3rd day of taking the medication I do not have any pain in my abdomen but I do have a slight pain in my left testicle,my concern is that my left testicle has swell twice the size of its normal size,is this normal,is the medication working or should I go back to the doctor please advise,thanks Conrad ## Have you consulted your doctor about this, yet? I AM HAVING (IBS- IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME WITH DYSENTRY. MY MAIN PROBLEM IS I GET LOOSE MOTIONS VERY FREQENTLY. Greetings for the day, i had matching boils on both the legs just above the ankle, it is swelled and had pain, they turned red swelled, my anklets are also got swelling for the last 4 days, my physician advised to underwent all routine examinations, in which creatinin 0.8, blood culture shows "STREPTOCOCCUS" found in blood and subsequently the physician prescribed me, 1) CIFRAN 500 2) EOFIL FORTE 3) OXERUETE CD, kindly giv me an opinion why my swelling doesnt come down. an early reply will be much helpful to me.
