I was recently recommended to get on a daily program of Phentermine and Chromium Picolinate. I would basically have to take the Phentermine along with the Chromium one hour after breakfast, and then a second dose of the Chromium in the early afternoon. I was wondering if anybody had additional details about this regimen? ## Chromium Picolinate is a nutritional supplement which is supposed to help reduce cravings for fat & carbs - I imagine that combining this with Phentermine (an amphetamine-based appetite suppressant) can indeed be conducive to weight loss. Chromium picolinate is a form of Chromium marketed for use in improving nutrient metabolism and to promote weight loss. However, I have not read any information about it being a "fat blocker" per say. According to NIH.gov, Chromium is known to enhance the action of insulin, a hormone critical to the metabolism and storage of carbohydrate, fat, and protein in the body. Chromium also appears to be directly involved in carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism, but more research is needed to determine the full range of its roles in the body. Any one have an idea? thanks ## The reason you're having trouble finding anything is due to the fact that there are no markings on the tablet, that makes it a bit difficult to positively identify. It can be ruled out as being a prescription medication, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency.
