My father 85 yrs old has been advised to take Cetil 500 as sugar is not being controlled after taking all possible precautions. Pl. Advice ## Ceftil contains the active ingredient Cefuroxime, this is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. That said, it is only going to help with his blood sugar if he has had some illness caused by an infection that is affecting the control of his blood sugar levels. if cetgel gelatine capsules are unavailable which other substitute is avaiable ## what i the substitute of cetgel capsule ## Cetgel is reported to contain the active ingredient of cetirizine hydrochloride. I assume you were taking this for the treatment of allergies? I recommend looking up other products which contain the same active ingredient, as they should be readily available. I know that out here in the U.S. I can find a number of medications in my local drug store which contain cetirizine - I hope this helps & good luck!

generic zyrtec ## Did you mean Cetirizine? That is the generic for Zyrtec. The FDA lists as being used to treat allergies, and it's typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, weight changes, and dry mouth.
