drug to help fatigue ## I have Lupus and rhuematoid arthritis and suffer from chronic fatigue and pain. I am going to my pain management doctor tomorrow morning and I want to see if he will perscribe me something for fatigue, what do you recommend? I take Adderall but that's for my ADHD and I have been on it for 30 year's and it does nothing for fatigue. Should I ask for generic provigil? And can he perscribe this medicine? Thank you so much. ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? It isn't likely that your doctor will prescribe both, most likely it will be one or the other, the Adderall, or Provigil, since they are both in the same medication class. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, weight ...

cephalon 15 mg capsule ## I can't seem to find any information on this. Was it obtained in the US or another country? Does anyone else know anything? ## Cephalon appears to be the name of the manufacturer, not the medication. They make an orange 15 mg capsule with the markings ECR 15 on them. You can view a picture here. This is Amrix 15 mg, which contains Cyclobenzaprine and is used as a muscle relaxant. You can read more about this on the page for . If this is not the capsule you have, please post back with additional details.

I was on the original trial 4 or the scent in December 2006 is it still available by prescription ## Hello, Mikel! How are you? This contained the active ingredient Fentanyl and it is still available via prescription in several forms. The tablets from Cephalon are now called Fentora. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

i take actiq but i have diabetes why is there no sugar free kind i do not care if it has aspartame i just care about my blood sugar ## This website does not manufacture any medications, it is an information only website. As to why it contains sugar, I am not sure if there's a specific reason for it, but you might be able to check with the manufacturer to find out. They have a website at Actiq.com details Alternatively, have you tried talking to your doctor about using something else that wouldn't have so much sugar in it, such as the Fentanyl patch? It is a time released patch to manage pain, which is changed every 3 days and contains the same active ingredient as the Actiq. nuvigil and methadone do not mix. nuvigil blocks the methadone. In current PDR. ## I believe you are correct. I take Nuvigil for narcolepsy and have started over past few weeks with low dose 20mg methadone for pain. When recently I got my new Nuvigil prescription, the past few days, I have felt dizzy, nauseas after two to four hours of taking it. It may be do to extremely fast elimination of methadone and because of the low dosage I am taking(20mg of methadone) which isn't alot but used for pain, it seems to block almost all of the analgesic, and pain activating mechanisms of methadone. Why this isn't discussed more and should be? Underground world of pharmaceutical industries, greed, money making machines that could care less about understanding and COMMUNICATING with cephalon ...
