Two toned capsule, light green and dark green, one half has GP4 and the other says 93/3125 on it. Is it Augmentin? ## What is a two tone pill half light green half dark green with GP4 on it? ## Are you certain of the marking? I am not finding anything of that description with that marking in the drug database. It is possibly an over the counter item. ## I have GP4 half light green, half dark green capsules. I also have the same capsule marked RX657. Both are in the same bottle marked Cephalexin 500 mg. caps. The Rx came from the vet, so it appears they used stock from two manufacturers. I don't know about GP4, but the RX657 appears to be a human-grade drug, made by Ranbaxy. I can't find a manufacturer for GP4. Perhaps a search for vet meds would bring up GP4?

I have cellulittes in left ancle and leg is cephalexin 500 mg what I need ## Hi Flonnie, Based on my research Cephalexin is actually regarded as one of the recommended drugs for treating Cellulitis in it's early stages. From what I could gather, the usual adult dose of Cephalexin (in the treatment of Cellulitis), is 500mgs orally every 6 hours, for up to 7-10 days. Depending on how severe each individual case is, other more powerful antibiotics may also be recommended, such as Vancomycin, Daptomycin, or Linezolid. I have cephalexin 500 mg from the year11/19/14 is it still good as I have no insurance. Can I still use it ## Hello, Elizabeth! How are you? If it is a pharmacy supplied bottle, or a container other than the original factory sealed one, then it expires on year from when it was dispensed to you, as noted by the FDA. It doesn't become toxic, once expired, but it does start to lose efficacy, so it may not work as well as it did, when new and may not completely eradicate infectious bacteria. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. It would be best to consult your doctor.
