Center Back Pain

I have had pain in my chest for a long time. Visited a doctor and he performed all the tests ECG, ECHO, TMT and ruled out any heart related diseases. But still i have pain in my chest and it is at one point near my ribs and it remains for a full day and can be felt by touching and it causes a lot of discomfort. Can anyone help? What is it due to....???

Was with a pain center in South Carolina for three years, but they through me out because I was taking a cough medicine given to me by my regular doctor. They said it was in my urine and they did not prescribe it. They put me on Methadone 10 mg four times a day, Oxycodone 7.5 mg three times a day, and a lot of other drugs for the last three years. I was in a car accident ten years ago, and was pretty messed up from it. What can I do about the pain center? My reg doc told them she prescribed it to me for three months, and they said they did not care. ## If you had a treatment agreement contract with them that stated you couldn't take narcotics from other doctors, without their approval, or that you couldn't take them at all, then you breached that contract. Yesterday I had heart burning and found difficult to eat, however I was hungry and ate bread with salami. Since morning there after I have no heart burning but a very mild pain or heaviness in the center of my stomach just at the center of my lungs from where they start curving. This is accompanied by sensation of vomiting resulting in huge saliva formation but the vomit does not come. I have taken Eno, zantac, and pantocid D but seems to have little relief though the saliva formation and the feeling of vomiting has stopped but have a feeling of half stuck burp. Hi, I have been on oxy's for over a year started out on small dosages now I'm up to 45mg 180 pills every 2 weeks. I want to get help so bad I've lost the person I am. I am not the mother I once was to my children. I know my addiction has affected everyone in my family. When I'm on the pill I'm ok no pains life is great but when I run out its pure hell. Here's my question if I were to go to a rehab center today cause I'm going through withdrawl as I'm out of my medication and not due for a refill till Tuesday. Need an pain clinic too treat my pain i have had 2 knee surgerys and taken 2-3 Norco 10 is not treating my pain i also have back pain ## Try TVPC/Spine and Neuro Center in Huntsville. Dr Morris Scherlis is my anesthesiologist and he is great. My only issue with them really is that for office visits I have to see one of his two staff members and the guy(Greg) is kind of an ass. Sorta condescending and suspicious of patients it seems. Also, I have a few other issues besides my back/sciatic pain and I was on several different meds for it including Ativan for anxiety/stress and ambien for sleeping problems due to my pain...I've weaned myself off both of them in the past year and done the same with my muscle relaxers. Hi I just moved from Washington State to Portland,Oregon. I am on SSDI for back injury,3 bulging disks and massive arthritus in neck,and 3 in thoratic back,and for Degenerative disk disease.I was going to a pain management center-referred to them by my regular doc,& they had me taking Norco-Vicodin 30 mgs a day. When I came to Portland,OR the doc that I'm seeing now said she's going to "wean me off" of pain meds,that I need to be able to function doing just everyday living things like showering,walking the dog,ect. I asked her then what? After I'm completely off them,she said well U could try PT but U said that hasn't worked in the past-which it didn't the PT I went to actually sent me home saying it was making condition worse/more pain. I have been on hydrocodone 30mg for about 3 years and started small but is now up to 4 a day just to feel fine and it has got very expensive and cant afford to do them anymore and it cost me my job... i literally cant get out of bed the withdrawals are so bad the back pain and restless arms and legs are the worse.. just moved here a few months ago to help my elderly parents.had failed neck surgery in 99&02" and have been on pain med"s ever since.Went to pain & spine center only to find out they are pushing treatments & injections and are very concervative with any pain meds.they have cut my pain meds by over 90% and Im no use to my parents or myself.Ive come down in dose and somewhat adjusted - but hurting so much I"d rather be dead.Actully its always on my mind,BUT really dont want to hurt my parents.Have searched pain dr"s in my area only to come up with anastiegiolists over & over again.ANY SUGGESTIONS? I live in Jasper, Alabama and have been on methadone for 15 years. It's the only thing that's helped during my chemo or when my ruptured disc are bothering me. The doctor I had just up and left and left all his patients hunting a new doctor. Does anyone know a doctor in or around Jasper or Birmingham that I can see that writes Methadone? ## Really, your best bet is to see a new doctor and make sure they get your medical records, so they can speak for themselves. Asking a doctor to prescribe a specific medication is often seen as being drug seeking behavior.
