I have inflammation in my back and was taking a pill called Cataflam 50mg but it does not work and still hurts. Can I take a cti 103 (Diclofenac Sodium 75mg) pill instead? Is Cataflam 50mg weaker than Diclofenac Sodium 75mg? ## Hi Evenlyn, Sorry to hear about your back condition. I hope you feel better soon! To answer your question, in short, yes, 50mg is weaker than 75mg. Cataflam is simply another brand name of Diclofenac; so it's pretty much the exact same thing at a different dosage, albeit the suffix is potassium with Cataflam instead of sodium as with the common/standard Diclofenac (& I'm not certain as to whether either mineral makes any notable difference in bioavailability/potency). As to whether or not you can take 75mg instead of 50mg, that's entirely up to yo...

I have recently started playing golf, however, I recently developed a pain on my left side and around my back just under my shoulder blade. I know that it's because of my faulty swing. I am now taking measures to correct my swing. I took cataflam and this helped a bit. But since I started Flamar - MX, I have been able to play all 18 holes. I will like to know if there are any side effects that can cause any damage to my organs. I have experienced the normal effects of stomach irritation with gripe and some extra soft stools. I am a diabetic on Diamicron MR. ## Flamar MX contains the active ingredients Chlorzoxazone and Paracetamol, this combines an anti-inflammatory with a muscle relaxant to treat pain, swelling and muscle spasms. Other common side effects may include: nausea and he...

round pinkish-brown pill with "P50" imprint on one side and blank on other. Supposed to be hydromorphone 4mg. I have my doubts. ## Is the P over the 50 and in black print, rather than etched into the pill? If so, then this tablet actually contains 50mgs of Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Learn more Diclofenac details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I've been taking diclofenac (cataflam) for about 8 yrs. now & this refill was different. I'd been getting a larger brownish rd. pill with gg738 on it so thought I better make sure this was another generic brand. This refill had P over 50 on a smaller, brownish-pink round tab. Thanks so much for the info.

I have had headaches for about 30 years. I have been to many doctors and tried a dozen or so medications while spending well over $10,000 and having good insurance. Three years ago a neurologist proscribed Diclofinic pot 50. It worked like a charm! I was amazed. Now I get a letter saying effective 1/1/19 Humanna is not going to cover it, at all. Not put it another more expensive class but just not cover it at all. Does anyone know why? It’s not an opioid drug. They recommend Diclofinic sot? Never heard of it. Can someone please weigh in on this. I’m scared. ## Hello Kurtiss, According to the NIH Diclofenec pot 50 is simply a 50mg dose of diclofenac potassium, also known as cataflam. Looking on the NIH's list of medication there seem to be a large number of generics avail...
