What is work cardese 2.5 wich desase in effactve this drugs .my dp is normal but Dr Say last 12 month from his takan me . ## This medication is commonly used to treat high blood pressure, and some cardiac conditions. My mother is 54 years she is diabetic since 20yrs & she was done by pass surgery 8years back .she is insulin patient &she was prescribed cardace2.5 after surgery. She was continuing till now but some days back her cardiac dr. Said to stop cardace but her diabetologist said to continue .so now she is taking cardace1.25 daily once after breakfast.but now she has severe eye pain so ophthalmologist said its becoz of high blood pressure. But her BP is normal. Now can u pls advise me what she shoul do whether to continue cardace 1.25 or 2.5 or can she skip that medicine now. Pls advice.

contains ramipril,for cardiac problems ## i like to know whether this generic medicine for Altace works, or does it not have the full potential to reduce hypertension.
