Grabbed for the Aleve Liquid gels & never paid attention to what color they were but there were 4 left & they were a red capsule. My boyfriend needed 1 for a bad haedache this morning but he later asked what I gave him & I told him what I had given him & he said either they are messing with his migraine medicine or they are not what they said they were. I cut it open & it was a cream colored powder. Any idea what this is? ## It also did NOT have any imprint on them. ## It's an over the counter product, so it isn't required to have an imprint. And it could be that he shouldn't take them with his migraine medication, they may be contraindicated. What does he take for his migraines? Knowing that would help me to research this and perhaps discover where the p...

Iv been taking gabapentin and iv been having sharp pains in my head that goes to my eyes why is that ## Hi Dameris, Based on my research, Gabapentin was originally developed for the treatment of epilepsy, and is currently widely used to relieve neuropathic pain. Gabapentin's most common side effects in adult patients include dizziness, drowsiness, and peripheral edema (swelling of extremities); these mainly occur at higher doses, in the elderly. However, headaches/migraines and eye pain are a couple of the rare and unexplained side effects, so I would speak with a doctor about the problems you are experiencing. Can anyone please help a poor old achy lady .. i would be forever great ful Thank you ## Can you give me an idea of approximately how many years ago? That might enable me to narrow it down and see if I can discover what it is for you. Learn more migraine details here. Have you tried any of the modern medications to see if they'll work for you? Also, if you were hospitalized at any point while taking them, so they had a list of the medications you were on, the hospital would most likely be able to check your records and tell you what the medication was.

The capsule is blue and light gray or off white. The blue section of the capsule has a black V printed on it. The gray or off white section of the capsule has 3109 in black printed on it. The capsule appears to contain a white powder. ## What is this pill called ? ## This tablet contains 30mgs of Codeine, 50mgs of Butalbital, 40mgs of Caffeine and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, this is a generic for Fioricet with Codeine. This medication is generally used to treat severe migraines. Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation. ## What if someone insufflated the v3109, would it be a health hazard? Worried about my brother. ## It'd be very harmful for your brother, i would tell him to stay away from it.

I cannot locate Deconamine SR capsules anywhere! Is it still possible to obtain this medication, and if so, where can I find it? It is the only medication that works for my post-nasal drip. ## Unfortunately, the original manufacturer sold the medication off to another company, who then cranked the price out of reach for almost everyone. I suppose they planned on ceasing production of the medicine, and needed a "lack of sales" to justify it. In our area, it went from $12/month to $88/month, which put it out of our reach. (4 of us were taking this medication, so it left us all in the lurch.) NOTHING has worked as well, so I am back to daily sore throats from drainage, my daughter has daily headaches that often go on into migraines. So many people relied on this combination pill th...

A yellow and blue capsule with CP in red on the blue portion and 279 in red on the yellow portion of the capsule. ## I believe this a generic brand med used headaches and migraines. Fiorinal with codeine. Also known as ascomp with codeine ## Ascomp is the worst! In my area that is all the pharmacies were dispensing and so I was forced to take that. I finally found a pharmacy that has Lannet Brand, Fiorinal and Codeine. It is generic but it is the best. It is a yellow and blue capsule.

I've taken Fiorinal Butalb/Asa/Caf (Westward pill) for 15 years, it's been very effective for my migraines. Since they've taken the tablet off the market and I can't get the old one anymore, i just filled the RX for the capsule. I haven't taken it yet, I'm nervous about it. Also annoyed as I used to split the tablet in half as I didn't always want to take an entire pill. Has anyone split the capsule? What are overall thoughts/experiences with the green capsules Butalbatol/Aspirin/Caffeine? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? No, it is not safe to split the capsule. As to how well it works, it really varies from person to person. Some have said they work great, but others haven't had good luck with them. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as...

Hi. I'm just concerned as to whether memo plus gold may trigger migraines, as I take 4-5 capsules a day. My migraine on the left side of my head seems to occur almost everyday. ## Memo Plus Gold is a natural supplement, not a prescription medication, so it hasn't been evaluated for side effects and is not actually proven to help with anything. That said, it may indeed be triggering your headaches, you could be sensitive to an ingredient in it and you are taking way more than they recommend, which is one capsule twice daily for the first month, then one capsule daily thereafter. There is always the possibility of getting too much of a good thing. Why are you taking so many? ## I was told by one doctor to take memo plus gold (2 capsules) 3 times a day as I have epilepsy. He said t...

I have a white oblong capsule with a captial E on it. I am wondering if this is Excedrin Migraine which I have used in the past for Migraines. I think I have one coming on and I'm not sure about this tablet. ## There is an Excedrin tablet with just an E marking, but since these are over the counter products, it's rather difficult to say if that's what you have or not. If you aren't sure what it is, then I'd suggest you just dispose of it and pick up a bottle of a migraine remedy from the store, so you are certain of the contents. Learn more Migraine details here. I took these capsules, these were told by pham. that they are the same ingredients as foinal w/codine. But I am having red blotching all over my body, plus it is eyes & lips are swelling alittle.Help??? ## Okay, first of all there is NO Fiorinal with Codeine, Fiorinal contains Aspirin, Butalbital and Caffeine, it is commonly used to treat migraines. These capsules contain 30mgs of Codeine, 500mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital and 40mgs of Caffeine, so they are the generic for Fioricet with Codeine. Has anyone experienced migraine headaches while taking Amlodipine? ## No headaches but watched my blood pressure increase up to 200/95 immediately after it was swallowed. In the beginning it was okay but they changed manufacturers and who knows what inactive ingredients were added. Quit taking it and now only take Brand name Dyazide 37.5mg/25 mg capsule once a day in the morning same time every day. I even tried brand name NORVASC (amlodipine besylate) and that increased my blood pressure up to stroke levels. ## I have had no problem with Amlodipine. It has finally been the answer to my blood pressure problems. I was given 2.5 mg and it didn't help much but my doctor added another 2.5 mg at night and it's been wonderful. what kind ofsedative is in this ## This is not used as a sedative. This capsule contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 100mgs of Dichlorophenazone and 65mgs of Isometheptene, commonly old under the brand name Migrex and used to treat migraine headaches. The Dichlorophenazone is a mild sedative, so that is why it may have been thought to be a used for sedation. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. Hi I have been on these capsules for many years for my migraines. one time I was given the pill version and this had dramatic effects on my Migraines. I am now having major problems getting my prescriptions filled because the Chemist seem to have problems obtaining them. I am so worried that I will have to change the medication for something that clearly didn't work for me. Do you know why these are unavailable in UK. Thanks Yvonne
