I found these capsules in my sons coat and want to know what they are. ## These tablets contain 25mgs of Hydroxyzine, it is an antihistamine that is used to treat allergic reactions, insomnia and to treat or prevent nausea and vomiting. Common side effects might include: dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache. Unlike the Hydrochloride version of hydroxyzine (Atarax,) Hydroxyzine pamoate (Vistaril) is used for drowzieness which is probably a cause for concern. Atarax is the version of hydroxyzine used for allergic reactions. I would be concerned your son is not using this for allergys.
