I used Canex V during my fertile period for thrush infection due to antibiotics. Is it possible to still be able to get pregnant while you are using it. ## From what I could gather, Canex V contains the active ingredient Clotrimazole, which is an anti-fungal medication. So yes, it is normally used to treat things such as yeast/thrush infections. Regarding it's use during pregnancy, Clotrimazole topical has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. In which case animals who were given high doses intravaginally have not revealed evidence of teratogenicity. However, high "oral" doses resulted in embryotoxicity and maternal toxicity.
