What would happen if candid b cream is accidentally ingested? ## Candid B is a local "skin application" that consists of Clotrimazole and betamethasone; it is effective for localized fungal infections such as Ring worm. I don't think ingesting the cream is a very good idea to say the least and may even cause more harm than good since it is not an oral medication. Keep in mind that Candid B is not effective in widespread fungal infections. For wide spread fungal infections one would need to take "oral" anti-fungal treatments. In addition, it is not very effective in fungal infection of the nails. As far as side effects go, Clotrimazole and Betamethasone can cause skin irritation. Some people can get allergic reactions but it is quite rare. Mild burning sensation, redn...

can the cream be used to soothe burning sensation in the rectal area... ## Hello, Miz! How are you? It is doubtful, this is an antifungal cream that is typically used to treat yeast infections or ringworm. Do you have piles? They can often cause anal burning, bleeding and pain. If so, then you will most likely need a hydrocortisone cream to help shrink them and alleviate the burning. Its typical side effects, as listed by the U.S. FDA, may possibly include skin redness, irritation and itching. Have you consulted your doctor?

Sorry about the infection. And the cream shouldn't be used internally, unless your doctor has specifically said that's it okay to do so. I'm not familiar with this one, but some of them aren't intended to be used internally. How long ago did you take the Syscan? can I use it on my face and how often can I apply it ## Looks like this is used to treat swelling and skin rashes due to infections. It has the following ingredients: Clotrimazole IP, Beclomethazone Dipropionate IP (Benzyl Alcohol IP, Methylparaben IP , Propylparaben IP) Cream Base. Being a topical creme, it should have safety instructions on how and where to apply it. If it does not say where to apply it, it may be ok to try starting off with a small amount on your face to see how well you react to it and bas your decision off of that test. Also, If this is a filled prescription, your doctor should have given you instructions of some sort; you should contact your doctor or local pharmacy if you experience any undesirable side effects associated with the application of this creme. Can I apply candid b cream to my baby's face? She has a lot of buttons from people kissing and touching her face. She's only 1 month old. ## face ke natural beauti ke liye aur white dhabbe ke liye candid b cream ka daily use kr skte h ## This cream is only used to treat fungal infections, so it will not help if her issues aren't due to a fungal infection. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation, burning, and flakiness. Have you consulted her doctor? There is a chance that her symptom could be caused by some other issue. What do the buttons look like? Are they filled with fluid like blisters? Can you please post back with more details? I am 22 and I'm suffering from severe infection in my vagina. This led to many big bumps on and around vulva. These bumps are having white liquid in it and is very painful giving burning sensation. Gynaec consulted me to apply Candid B cream on Vulva. Should apply this cream even on those bumps? How many days will it take to recover?

I am suffering from fungal infection I guess... Because after my periods immediately I started getting rashes, itching, redness and burning sensation in my vulva. I was suggested to use v wash for cleaning which will decrease the pain, then I was suggested to use candidate b cream but as per my information it has to be applied externally.. But I tried using it..it didn't completely work but the pain is decreased to some extent.. So I would like to know that if I am applying this cream internally will it work to decrease my pain.. Or can it cause some injury to my vaginal tissue..??

Is their any cream or medicated ointment for vaginal itching ## It depends on what is causing the itching. In most cases, it is due to a yeast infection and, if that it what has caused it, then an antifungal medication will be required, either in cream form, or taken orally. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including redness, irritation, discharge and spotting. What has the doctor recommended?

I have this Tinea Versicolor for 4 years but there is no improvment till date. ## Hi Sai, Based on my research, Candid (Clotrimazole) is reported to be an anti-fungal medication/cream, commonly prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections; which is exactly what "tinea versicolor" is (just on a more chronic level, if you will). The US National Library of Medicine also states that this condition is generally "treated" (NOT cured) by applying anti-fungal medicine (such as Clotrimazole) to the skin or by taking it orally. Ref: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0002436/#adam_001465.disease.treatment So it sounds to me like it'd be worth trying if nothing else has worked over the last 4 years. I also wanted to add that because this condition is caused by a type of yeas...
