i sometimes get confused with my prednisone pills i am taking both 1mg and 10mg and they are both close very close in apperance and size. can i coat them by put some chocolate powder sugar so i can eliminate taking the wrong dose? what do you recommend. ## Have you asked your pharmacist for ideas? I'd think that anything that marked them, without making them damp, so they'd start to dissolve would be fine. You'd also want to avoid something that would make them stick together, so I do have concerns about the sugar, because it could sometimes do that. I wonder if a good coloring pen, would work, since it would be something that you could use to mark them, without making them really wet? I'd suggest checking with your pharmacist, they may even have a way that they can do i...

He said you can drink but make sure you stay out of the sun while on this Anit-Biotic ## I find it hard to believe that any doctor would say that, it is never advisable to drink when you are taking prescription drugs of any type. I chewed ibuprofen and it made my mouth burn and now my stomach isnt feeling very good. Was it bad for me to chew it instead of swallow it? ## Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and these are well known to cause irritation and/or damage to the delicate lining of the mouth, stomach and esophagus. That's why they are distributed as coated tablets and the instructions usually direct you to swallow them whole and not to crush or chew them. So, yes, it was a bad idea. Even with the coating on them, NSAIDs can cause or irritate conditions, such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis. In early 2007 I had surgery to remove two discs in my neck and to have a procedure done to open up my spinal canal due to severe stenosis and they cut two vertebrae open and inserted bone grafts to keep them spread open. They also inserted two plates and four screws to keep everything aligned. The surgery helped a little for a year or so but I still had constant pain but in 2012 the pain again became so intense and would move up into my head and down my spine that most days I could not get out of bed let alone go to work. When I was able to go to work the pain was so bad that I could not focus on anything else and my performance suffered greatly. I also have advanced arthritis spurs in my neck and down my spine and this is at times is crippling to me. They tried to remove some of the sp...
