I have pins and needles in my hands and feet. When i carry bags it's even worse. I took Neuroboin for 3 months. Should i continue? I had my thyroid removed. Thanks. ## Neurobion is just a multivitamin supplement that contains some nutrients that are believed to help with some nerve pain, but it isn't actually proven to do anything. In addition, if you are suffering from a condition that is causing continued nerve damage, nothing is going to be able to help, until the situation is rectified, if a solution exists. Learn more Vitamin details here. That said, such tingling usually results from some type of nerve damage, or pinched nerves. Have you consulted a doctor so they can look into what's causing the problem? ## You may have a neurological disorder. I would make an appoint...

Hi everybody. I am currently tapering off Zyprexa. Have been on it for five years at 5 mg daily. I have been experiencing tingling or pins and needles on my feet and hands that switch around sides and sometimes disapears. I wouldlike to know if anybody has felt this while going off this med. Thanks ## Hello, Jorge! How are you doing? Have things improved, yet? Those types of symptoms can happen when withdrawing from pretty much any psychiatrically active medication, including this one. You should make sure to let your doctor know about them and seek medical attention if they get severe or you feel that you are in danger. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I seem to get headaches from topzole and body aches. I took ibuprofen and now my body aches even more. The feeling of needles pricking my body. ## I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between these medications. Are you on any other medications? The NIH lists the typical side effects of Topzole as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and flatulence.

Hello friends! I am suffering from stomach pain directly in the stomach area in between ribs/breasts. I have nausea and vomiting now for over 1 week. I went to the ER and they did an ultrasound plus a CT Scan with contrast and everything came back normal. Needless to say I was sent home in the same excruciating pain that I went in with. My doctor is not calling me back. I have tried every herbal tea plus antacids. Nothing will give me relief of this pain and according to my test results performed in the hospital, they don't see anything wrong. I am scared and need help and or any ideas? Thank you! ## Hello, Ruth! How are you doing? Has there been any change? Have you consulted a gastroenterologist? When that happened to me, it turned out to be gastritis and it took a long time for a...

My friend gave me 2 pills, she said they would give me energy, needless to say i havent took them yet because i dont know what they are! Its oblong, with a white coating on the outside without any imprint whatsoever. Then inside is light brown with white specks. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks~!~ ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. We can rule out its being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have marking for identification purposes. However, it could be something available over the counter or a foreign medication. Did she say anything else about it?

My reg doc has had me on hydros since 09. He recently sent me to a pain specialist who put needles in my spine. The PS gave a Rx of ibuprofen equivalent to 4 reg ibuprofen... I am in more pain now than before. Should I go back to my reg doc to be weaned off of these? I am suffering a migraine, fever, shaking, and my heart feels like it beating out of my chest. I have been taken 2 a day, just as prescribed, I can't tolerate pain like most, I'm very sensitive to pain like I am having! ## Hello, Christin! How are you feeling? A sudden withdrawal of a narcotic like Hydrocodone could cause rebound pain that can be worse than the pain you were already treating. The same holds true, if your dose was just suddenly lowered. Is the Ibuprofen the only thing that you're taking, now? ## ...

HI,my dad is taking ECOSPRIN AV 75 for past 2 weeks on his cardiologist's advice. He has also been taking Aztor for the past year and a half, prescribed by another doctor. Both are taken at night. Can these meds be taken together, as both contain 10mg atorvastatin. Is this considered a high dose and is it necessary? What is aspirin's role here? ## The Aspirin is generally used for its blood thinning properties, it can help prevent heart attacks and strokes. Are both of his doctors aware of all the medications he is taking? If they are not, he may be doubling up needlessly. However, if they know about all of his medications, they may have decided that he needs the higher dosage. Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol, can also be used to help prevent stroke. ## I H...

my son is having a very hard time sleeping the last two nights ## Hi Chris, How are you? From what I could gather, there actually are a couple different drug interactions listed between each of the medications you mentioned (aside from Viibryd). Apparently the Diphenhydramine found in Tylenol PM interacts with both Risperdal (risperidone) as well as Lamictal (lamotrigine); in which case some people experience bladder problems, cognitive impairment, a decreased heart rate, and more... Risperdal and Lamictal also list interactions that could lead to excessive drowsiness, seizures, an increased heart rate, and more... Needless to say, I wouldn't suggest using any of those medications together unless your doctor gave the ok and is closely monitoring how it's effecting you on a regul...

All HELP and encouragement is appreciated! Last year, in November, I abruptly stopped 60mg. of Cymbalta after taking it for 3 years. I had NO IDEA what would happen. I experienced a 20 day constant panic attack that I later learned was withdrawal.Needless to say, I was prescribed Klonopin as needed and went on Zoloft. I got through that and I think I only took a couple of .5 K. FAST FORWARD to this year...My PDOC had me on 100mg. zoloft and 36mg. Concerta, and 2mg. of Abilify. 11months later, I was so distant, I decided to come off Abilify. Stopped abruptly. Anxiety, sickness came on with a vengeance. My PDOC convinced me that he would not let me become addicted to the Klonopin and that I needed to take it regularly. Long story short, I took between .5 and 1mg for about 6 weeks. I then ...

I have been taking this for 2 months now starting at 20 and now at 30 and I've been waking up (sometimes after only 4 or 5 hours sleep) with severe pain in my fingers, hands and sometimes my arms!? I don't see an exact pattern it seems to be more random. Has anyone else noticed similar effects when taking this medication? Maybe it was more so in the beginning, I should have written it down it was very frightening and painful ??. ## Since my last post I have experienced an alarming event with my fingers turning white and painful and it turns out it's something called Raynaud's syndrome. You kind of Google it, it is exactly what happened to me twice now since my last post. The vessels close and basically stop circulation to the fingers at last at 30 mins the first time n 1...

I was thrown to the floor about three months ago. I went to the hospital and the doctor said i have nerve damage and that it would go away in a matter of weeks. Well it hasn't and the sensations getting worse down my neck, arms and legs. What do you think it is? ## Hello, Danny! How are you? Well, as listed by the NIH, those are classic symptoms of nerve damage, however, there is a chance that it is permanent, or that you suffered a pinched nerve that requires treatment. Are you on any medications? Have you revisited the doctor?

Pychiastrist put me on this "great new drug" when I was going through a rough patch. Had been on Paxil for 6 years. Took 6 months to get off that drug. Fast forward 4 years on Viibryd and it's simply not working. Began weaning off, first round did the tapering down 40-20-10 in one week intervals. What a nightmare each time I went one level down I thought I was dying. The headaches, brain zaps, itching, fatigue, everything. Got down to 10 stopped taking it... After four days I was down for the count, I was sure I had lost my mind. Couldn't get up, just getting a glass of water was a big deal. Doctor put me back on the 10 mg and trying a different way to taper down, now it's one every other day, then one every 3 days. Needless to say, the brain zaps a gone, but the itc...

After taking 98 mg of methadone for the past 9 yrs, is it possible 2 switch 2 suboxone? My body was significantly abused when i was out there, lots of back injuries, no pain w/ methadone. Does suboxone do this also? I work a very physical job. ## I would definitely see a dr.... that's a high dose, it stays in your muscles and can affect your heart (it's a muscle); I thought well I can do this 3.5 yrs for pain control. I was on everything under the sun. I lost 2 yrs, no memories from all the combos, 6 spine surgeries, 4 in 7 mo.... gave up all meds and started inj's. inside joints which didn't help. Then after 15 yrs hear of nerve burns similar to the blocks but they actually go in with needles n burn your nerves; wonderful great mostly pain free. Got rid of all drugs exc...

Hello, thanks for having this site. So, I have a couple things going on which I am trying to get handled with my Doc. Along with the fact that I have not being taking my generic brand of Lexapro consistently. Really Dumb. I know. I was taking it, then forgetting. Now, I am getting a pins and needles feeling in my face and really in other areas too, achy flu like symptoms and being emotional and very anxious. Any of these symptoms sound familiar with withdrawal? My anxiety is so high that I am very paranoid it's M.S. or something. Sorry for sounding nuts. Thank you again for your input. ## Hello, Amy! This is going to sound a little crazy. I am a retired physical therapist. At 59 years old i have been very active in sports from a young age. Needless to say I have treated just about every injury that can occur in the human body over the years. Most required pain meds to endure p.t. I have always been interested in mma, so i decided to move to las vegas and train at the major gyms there. BAD mistake! After 4 years of training I was busted up. osteoarthritis and degeneration took place on a whole new level. I started taking vicodin for my shoulder, then my hip, and now for both knees. I don't even want to mention my spine. Vicodin was a huge blessing in the beginning, especially in combo with hrt. It allowed me to fight and train. It gave me energy and endurance (not typical).
