My wife has liver and pancreatic cancer. She has pain in her stomach as well as indigestion. Will Vicodin work better than Tylenol or is there something better? ## Hello, Kip! V.A. sent me hydrocodone 5mg/acetaminophen 325mg. It has red dots all over, with # 3202 on one side, and Watson on the other side. So, is this really hydrocodone, 5, with acetaminophen 325 mg ? My levels came back high for hydrocodone, on blood test, but Rx said " no more than 8 in a 24 hour period, and I have never taken more than that, in 24 hour period. I am currently on what my doctor calls a "pain management" plan since nothing else has worked. I take Vicodin 7.5/325 which right now is to be my at-home-pain-reliever. I was prescribed tramadol 50mg previously to take during the day and it was awesome! No pain, alert and able to work. But good feelings faded and became nothing. Now my doc had me on the same Vicodin. And I take Tramadol 50mg. (1-2 every six hours as needed, max 6 per day - Same as Vicodin) and Tylenol 3 (300/30mg) 1-2 twice daily. I already don't feel anything with this tramadol t3 combo. What is a good substitute I can take during the day? Taking opana ER 5 mg and 5 mg opana for breakthrough is not really helping. Can I take tylenol as well? ## They can be taken together, unless you've been instructed not to mix them. I have an abscessed tooth, and my dentist prescribed me vicodin 5/300. Every 4-6 hrs as needed. If one doesnt do the trick do you think it would be safe to take 1 and a 1/2 to 2 every 4-6 hrs as needed? ## It should be fine. Can I take Oramorph SR 60 mg if I am used to 100 mg of Vicodin a day? ## There are no 100mg tablet of Hydromorphone and Acetaminopen, if you were taking enough of them to equal that dosage, you have been putting yourself in severe danger of overdosing on the Acetaminophen. In that case, yes, you are probably better off and safer with the Oramorph SR. It contains no Acetaminophen and is time released. I take 10 mg hydrocodone daily. I binge drank Saturday night and have been sick in bed with a tremendous hangover for 3 days. I was given Tylenol #5 after I broke my nose... Immediately afterwards they became Vicodin, etc.. My housemate is an old nurse and I'm tired of her always insisting that she knows everything!!! the shape is oval white L544 ## This is NOT Vicodin and does NOT contain any type of Narcotic. This tablet only contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen. I need to know what kind of pill this is and whether it has any vicodin in it. ## Tylenol PM is an over the counter product that contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, it is used to help with pain and mild insomnia that may be caused by it. anyone else taking generic tylenol 4 made by teva? my pharmacy just switched brands and taking ONE feels like i'm taking FOUR. but that's only every third pill... they dont feel consistent but regardless they feel WAYYYY over the regular strength of codeine. it feels like i'm taking codiene and vicodin at the same timme and i hate it. ## Is there any chance that the times when it seems to hit stronger are also times where you might have eaten less, or not eaten anything yet?
