Can You Take Trazodone With Zoloft

Yes I was on suboxone, for seven months. My doctor drug tested me three times back to back. She kept saying I was positive for benzo's. She had me on Zoloft, I had some trazodones with refills when I started going to her. The last time I went (I have no insurance, the first month I went to see her I spent a total of 850$ because I was coming off methadone, and she made me keep coming back every week). well I kept telling her there was no way I had Benzodiazepines n my system, so she says well I am only gonna give u 15, come back n two weeks, take the test, if its clean, then I will see no charge since u just paid the 200 office visit, so the two weeks went by, (my finance & family kept say maybe the cups r contaminated. I stopped taking Effexor 75 mg on Tuseday and started Zoloft 100 mg on Wednesday. I felt sick all day life the flu, I then took 100 Zoloft on Thursday and still feel sick, and I did throw up earlier. I really feel like I'm going through withdrawals from something. I am also taking 50 mg of Trazodone. I started that this Wednesday. I have been on 1 mg of Klonopin for years. What is going on? ## Ideally, it would have been best to slowly taper down on the Effexor, while going up on the dose of the Zoloft. Since you didn't do that, you just stopped taking it, you are likely experiencing some withdrawal/rebound effects. Learn more Zoloft details here. Have your symptoms improved any?

My Psychiatrist has me on 200 mg. of zoloft and I'm, being tapered (my choice) off of klonipin--currently 1mg. I'm terrified of getting serotonin syndrome! I was also on trazodone to help me sleep until I read about ser. syndrome. So now, I just deal with the insomnia. Anyone else have this terror? ## It is a very rare occurrence, so not something that you should genuinely be terrified about. The Zoloft contains the active ingredient Sertraline, which is an SSRI antidepressant and there is as much a chance of it causing serotonin syndrome as there was with the Trazodone. Have you discussed these concerns with your doctor?

I supposedly tested positive for Fetanyl and Xanax on my first drug screen at my first appt. She says I wasn't under her care previously and she is not discharging me but I did not do either substances EVER. My pm doc prescribes Percocet 7.5 mg 3x a day. I also take Gabapentin, Zoloft, Buspar and Meloxicam and occasionally Trazodone and Flexeril. Not daily for those. I don't think it's likely that I tested positive for both of these substances and they sounded way TOO determined that I was guilty which didn't add up. I also have a 7 month old baby and only took pain meds for 2 days post C Section. After these major herniations + other issues I couldn't take the pain. I was prescribed Xanax in 1992. Five months ago my new PCP changed to Klonopin which is not working. I need help finding a doctor to put me back on my Xanax near Midwest city, OK. ## Why isn't the Klonopin working? I have only taken two of them in my life and they seemed to work. SWIM took klonopin back in May, SWIM tested positive for Benzos on August 27th is that even possible? SWIM is 6' , 230 fairly active.. Works in construction, sweats a lot everyday and plays basketball 2x a week. SWIM is also prescribed 100 mg sertraline (Zoloft) , 100 mg Lamotrigine, they've been taking Zantrex Black ( OTC diet pills) , Benadryl ( OTC) , Nasacort (OTC) and took one trazodone ( wife's prescription to aid insomnia) 2 days before the test.
