I have not been able to find a medicine that helps with what my doctor thinks is Gerd. The last medicine was protonix and within 21/2 weeks I am having side effects. Ankles are spasming as well as hands however I have spondilosis. I have never had spasms in these areas until protonix and I still have food that gets stuck and continuous hiccups. My doctor put me on 400 mgs of magnesium. Any answers or opinions? ## Hello, JLM! How are you doing? It isn't actually that food gets stuck, though it does feel like it. It's esophageal erosion and irritation there. Sometimes you swallow something that irritates it and gets it acting up, so it feels like there is a lump there, but there actually isn't. And yes, that is a sign of GERD. What other medications have you tried? I had many ...

Is some mfgr. making this original formula and what pharmacies carry it? It is the ONLY one that worked & restored my health for me. Please HELP? ## I have the same problem as above and am desparate to find a supplier of Ortho-Est. I have not had a nights sleep for 7 months and have spent R6000 on gynea's and other products which do not work. ## Unfortunately, no! I am currently on Subutex and alprazolam I went to rehab and they almost killed me trying to detox me.They had no idea how to detox me.I did not eat for 2 weeks and did not sleep and was hallucinating.I want back on Methadone at least I know they can take me down slowly and successfully.Subutex is a killer if you are on it GET OFF QUICK!!!!! ## Hello, Sandra! How are you? Unfortunately, a regular doctor cannot prescribe Methadone for addiction or maintenance treatment.
