Can You Inject Percocet

white, oval pill. Its a watson 824, percocet. ## I wouldn't recommend crushing up any pill and injecting it. It is in pill form for an obvious reason, and if this drug can be injected, there should be a liquid form available. It would be much safer and wiser to consult your doctor about obtaining a liquid form before attempting any such method. There are obvious dangers to doing this on your own without supervision of a medical professional. ## im sick of people EVERYWHERE posting "oh you shouldnt inject it" that wasnt the question...the question is CAN you. this isn't place for moral lessons. damn ## The question was "can Percocet be INJECTED?" I have been taking 1 Adderal and 2 Percocet for several months now. I went to my Dr.and he had me do a drug screening. A couple days later the nurse called and stated that the Dr. wanted me to come in asap to do another. I went in a few days later and did another screening. Today I receive a letter stating that both test came back negative for narcotics, and I would not be perscribed anymore because it was clear that I was not taking them. Which is not true. I started taking the Percocet in August due to a herniated disc in my lower back that is sitting on my cyatic nerve. My Dr gave my a monthly script for the pain meds and referred me to a specialist. The specialist gave me injections that did not work, and tried to get me to put a Nuro stemulator in my back ( NOT) and said I wasn'...

I would like to hear ppls opinions on this procedure who have had it done or know of some1 who has....pros & cons? I'm 30 in Jan, with 2 cervical herniations, 1 bulging lumbar. Had 2 epidurals on each, neck & back. I don't regret it even though it last for bout a month each, but my chronic pain returned & actually I'm getting hip joint injections on my bday. Hi, my name is Joan and I have chronic pain. I also have fibromyalgia Hermiated discs in the lumbar and sacral regions as well as the thoracic region. I get injections into my knee because it’s bone on bone. My primary dr stopped my Percocet 10/325mgr, abruptly , after knowing been on for more than 5 yrs. i’ve only seen this primary doctor for two months. I take the perc 10 and opana 10ER..along with steroid injections every few months and I am not getting the relief I hoped for. My pain doc has been great so far and has adjusted my meds several times. I want to ask for stronger meds.. I work 10 hr days and I'm starting to struggle more and more. I want to ask for higher dosages, but I don't want him to get a bad impression of me. What is the best way to ask this?... I am prescribed percocet, oxycontin, xanax, and adderall. I had a lower back injection done that I had a reaction to causing SEVERE PAIN AND UTI. I had NORCO left from previous Dr about 4 months prior. On my visit this month I had taken the Norco because pain was so bad. My nurse did a drug urine test on that day. I recently found out how to extract the oxycodone from a percocet but have not tried it out yet. Does anyone know that if by taking the codone by a liquid form gives you a better high or is it just better for the liver?? ## How about neither? This is a very, very dangerous practice. Was treated with Nubian for bowel obstruction several. Was very effective and caused no nausea, or other adverse side effects. Could have been by injection. Am presently having severe pain from abscess, need root canal. Cannot take codeine, Percocet Demerol ,torodol or any NSAIDS, due to abscess and perforation and removal of 1/2 of stomach.

I need to know what kind of pill has a 10 pressed into one side and the letters ON with a line under it on the other side. I was told they are a 10mg percocet, but i have a feeling its not. It was in my roomate's purse. What is she into?? Are they REALLY a percocet? ## As far as I know, they are OxyNeo's. Which is a "replacement" for oxycotin. They were made because of the abuse of oxycotin. And they are supposed to be the same as oxycotin, but abuse safe, they changed the compound of how they are made, so the you can not crush and snort them. Or mix them with water to inject them, they turn a gummy paste if tried. These are fairly new and mainly in Canada for now, for what I know, but they may be available in the US now, not sure.

I get prescribed percocet 5mgs and have been out for a few days so i was doing suboxone strips for bout 3 days now I only do a half a strip and i inject it. is there a chance that on 5/29 it will show up in my drug test i take a urnine test

Hello...I sadly am on a regime on percocet. I am on a low dose and have been on for a very long time. My primary writes it, usually. I do go to pain management but they do not prescribe narcotics and my primary had been the one to write my percocet for me-I left it at that. Both doctors are aware of my regime and the PM doctor sends his reports to my primary doctor. The PM doctor gave me injections. They only help occasionally it's not cortisone it's something that blocks the nerves? I went to pick up my monthly script when I was told PA laws have changed so I have to find a pain management doctor that will write for narcotics because the primary now only can do so 3 or so times? My husband has a history of back pain since 1985. He has had 3 back surgeries, epidural injections and 2 spinal column stimulator implants. His last surgery in 2006 was quite successful. He was on 180 mg of Avinza and percocet for breakthrough pain. He has gradually reduced his medication to 30 mg twice daily of morphine sulphate and has maintained this dosage for 2 years. We have been patients of this primary care group for 25 years. The doctor that we both had been patients of retired, so we now see another MD from the same group. I have had 2 sacral injections, and 6 facet injections with relief lasting 2-3wks with relief. I've had a spine specialist, pain management, and PCP, all 3 saying I had arthritis of the spine. I ended up going off on that pain managements PA, bc she was going to prescribe me percocets until I could have an MRI of my upper spine, and scheduled back in for more injections.
