Can You Get High On Them

My sister is in a rehab and she tested positive for 32 miligrams of sudafed in her system. She has a history of abusing alchohol, diet pills and cocaine. She does not have any known sinus or cold issues. Could she get high of of sudafed? ## When taken in large quantities, the active ingredient Pseudoephedrine has stimulant like effects, just like the diet pills and cocaine she has been known to abuse. People have been known to abuse it for those affects and for weight loss. In high doses, it can cause nervousness, excitability, weight loss, elevated blood pressure and elevated heart rate. My gf just started on subs and I swear shes high, don,t care but just noticable. Is this even possible? I just had a mouth swab drug test done for employment and the one who performed the test said it's "inconclusive" and they have to send it off to the lab... She then handed me a copy... Being naive to this, I thought that the circled ones were the ones they were testing, but no, these are the ones I presumed to be positive for: Amphetamines, Methamphetamine, Opiates, PCP, Cocaine... I am on opiates but the other stuff "NO WAY!". I don't even know what they look like. Cocaine I will admit I tried once back in High School which is over 20 years ago... I was upset. My husband said you haven't done any off those so u have nothing to worry about... I told him but with something like this you're guilty and you feel like you have to prove your innocence.

I was wondering if a large amount of amoxil & clavunate k 500/125mg 30 ( that's exactly what my capsule says on it)will make you feel oozy, drowsy or sleep. Because I was told to take 2tabs 3 times a day and to take with food. Seems sketchy to me because I've been prescribed to this medication. Before and last time is said to take 1 tab twice a day. I take about 150mgs of percocet30mgs a day and I want to know if I take methadone will it help with the withdrawl & shakes of the stopping the percocet dose every day.. If you're on Methadone can you still take Suboxone safely? ## NO! They are both very strong narcotics, it is not safe to take both. In addition, Suboxone also contains Naloxone, which neutralizes other opiates. Hello, I'm having a problem getting my Norco 7.5 filled. I've had 7 surgeries since October removing staph infection absess. These are very bad absess. Usually over 4 inches deep and about that length and all over my body. I have gained custody of my grandchild because of parent addiction. They are now being given Suboxone, the rehab person says "no, they can't get high from it". I believe they can. From what information I have read he high is just not as strong. So can a person "get high" from suboxone? ## In theory, yes, someone could get high from it, because it still contains a narcotic, which is Buprenorphine. I've been taking 5/325mg. of hydrocodone just as needed due to severe arthritis . Take only 1 tablet per/day at the most. Skip those days when my pain is manageable up to 3 days without. Been having what seems to resemble side effects, such as headaches, body aches, high blood pressure, extreme agitation, and cold sweats w/chills. I'm worried whether or not I should just take the 1 p/day just to play it safe? I have CVS Caremark and I get my meds delivered monthly without any issues. I don't understand why so many people have such a hard time with this. You do have to send in your hard copies and there is an overnight option for your mess to be sent back but honestly I have never had an issue. i have half of a 50mg fentanyl patch and im wondering if you can take it? ## It is not safe to do this with any medication, they should only be used in the manner that they are intended to be used. There is a very high risk of overdose, with Fentanyl, because it is over 80 times stronger than Morphine and even the non-gel patches are time released, so abusing it could result in your getting too much, at once.
