My mother has been diagosed with Spine TB so the doctors has started the ATT medicines. But she is having severe back pain and by having combiflam shes somewhat relived from the pain. So i wanted to ask if we give 1.5 combiflam daily for about 3 months(till then we are hopefull that ATT medicines will start showing its effect and pain will be reduced) will it have any side effect on her? ## what would happen if i take combiflame thrice a day?? ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects. Hi. How long will I experience withdrawal side effects from morphine? I was prescribed to take one or two 2 mg pills of hydromorphone to help with the pain in my legs due to MS. I have been weaning myself off because of side effects. I am only taking one pill about every 36 hours and increasing the time in between each pill. When can I stop taking the pills completely without feeling sick and agitated? Is there anything I can do to help get this toxin out of my body sooner so I never have to take it again? ## Honey.. first, stop worrying, you are on such a low dose that i doubt you will have any withdrawl symptoms when you stop, stop whenever you want. I live in Florida and im one of the many people that dont abuse the narcotic pain medications i have to go through h*** to get a hold of each month. i visited my pain management dr this morning and she told me that the meds will be removed from the market and that they may introduce a new form of it 18 mos from the time its stopped being made. she said its some pill that when crushed or damaged turns into a crytal like super hard substance. i could care less what happens when theyre broken for i take mine whole and not once have i ever got a "buzz" from them. Could I give half of 30 mg ambroxol to my daughter? My doctor didn't recommend it but as a parent I want my daughter who is 2 yrs and 4 months stop coughing so I' m thinking to give it t0 her. My doctor gave it to me when I was back home from the Phils. ## Hi Ann, If your doctor didn't recommend that you give this medication to your child, then I imagine the safest thing to do would be to listen to him/her. I have read that it isn't safe to give a child under the age of 2 any cough/cold medication. At your child's age, there is no way to know how medications could effect her system and her growth.
