I have a dilaudid prescription, but lost the insert. Other pain meds must be taken with food or risk nausea - will Dilaudid do this as well? It is a case of compression fracture in D10 & D11. Dr has prescribed Enzomac twice a day. Should it be taken empty stomach. General perception is that all anti inflammatory medicines are taken after meals. Can some muscle relaxant medicines be also given?

Hi, due to some reason I delayed the pregnancy check up and when done during 9th week I was diagnosed with hypothyroid problem with TSH level 8.9. And started taking thyroform tablet of 50mcg daily as per doctor's advise.. My question is because of delayed treatment will it affect the fetal development, or will it be normal?

Does anybody know if it is okay to take Advil on an empty stomach? I was told that it does a number on it, and I just wasn't sure - As a side note, I don't really take Advil on a regular basis at all. ## It's technically OK at the recommended dose but you might experience discomfort. What becomes a problem is if you take too much advil or take it for a prolonged period. If you can, try to eat something like a banana with it to buffer your tummy.

I am wondering if I should take sulfamth tmp on a full stomach or does it matter? ## There is really no preference listed for this medication, so you can take it whichever way is better for you. Most antibiotics can be effected by some products, such as dairy foods, which may alter the amount of them that can be absorbed, so you may want to try it on an empty stomach to see if that works for you. Some people had good results with it for the first week or 2, then it seemed to stop working for them. There appears to be no set treatment time frame, according to the FDA information, though most evaluation trials were for 12 weeks periods. However, your doctor would be the best judge of how long you can safely take it. Typical side effects may include nausea, bloating and diarrhea. It should also be taken on an empty stomach, at least a half hour before eating.

I have been on this medication for three days and I am experiencing the worst stomach pains. Has anyone else ever experience this? ## Stomach cramps is a side effect of this RX but its a less common side effect. I have a few stomach cramps but I find that it goes away if you snack on something before and right after you take it. It works for me when I have cramps. i took enzoflam 2 tablets rantac 150 mg 1 tablet and everclav 625 2 tablets...empty stomach at 12 am today..and its 4 am...my stomach aches a lot now...i ate a light snack...it felt relief at first...bt now when i try to sleep again...this whole thing is back to the same stomach ache...what should i do?...

Was just wondering how can I keep from getting sick to my stomach all the time when I take my meds. ## You might try packing your med's in food, eat a little, take pill,eat again,take pill etc.. I take Lisinopril at bedtime,along with couple other med's, and have no problem but I usually eat a little bit with it. You may be taking too many at once, divide them up. Chk with your Dr or Pharm. to get the best advice . Hope this helps. ## I have always had the same problem, and food is definitely the key- taking pain medications+empty stomach = ulcer. If not and you have been taking them for that long on an empty stomach, then I suggest you do so, as soon as possible. Stilpane contains Paracetamol, Codeine, Caffeine and Meprobomate, it used to treat pain. Hi There, I'm aged 31 yrs ... and taking Levipil 500 mg 1 in Morning & 1 in night. Lobazam 5mg in morning & 10mg in night, Bplex Forte 1 tablet in night, Ativan 1 mg at night and Pantocid 40mg on empty stomach. Am using these tablets from 2013 and it's been almost 5 years now. I often get irritated and can see I lost most of my hair... I work in afternoon timings 3:30 pm to 12:30 am... and I don't sleep even for 5 hours a day. but I feel drowsy all through the day after my bath. I just took my first dose of Linzess 145 and like the others posted...within 2 hrs of taking it (I took it on an empty stomach 30 minutes before breakfast) I had noticeable bloating and gas within an hr and it was working full on within 2 hrs. The entire experience seemed to work itself out within 3.5 hrs. Very unpleasant 3.5 hrs but now everything seems to have calmed down. Not ideal..but can Linzess just be taken every few days? 2-3 times per week?
