I want to know if I can take Ibuprofen 600 mg, Hydrocodone, Flexeril 10 mg and Baclofen 10 mg tabs together for sciatic nerve pain? ## I really want to know can these pills be taken together? ## Hi Eva, Based on my research, there aren't any problems taking ibuprofen alongside hydrocodone. In fact, they already manufacture a tablet with that combination for pain management purposes. However, using flexeril and baclofen together with each other AND/OR with hydrocodone may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. I have an enlarged vein that goes thru the muscle of my foot which has caused inflammation in this muscle and it hurts constantly. I have been taking 3 ibuprofen for jaw pain after having roots extracted for future implants. The dr had prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325, but I don't like the way it makes me feel. I was trying to cut back on pain meds after 4 days, so I took 2 of the ibuprofen instead of 3. It isn't helping, so can I add 1/2 of a hydrocodone pill or would it be better to take a 3rd ibuprofen pill? ## Scottie, If the hydrocodone was causing undesirable side effects taking an additional Ibuprophen would certainly not hurt. Hi my husband had carpal tunnel surgery done he is taking hydrocodon with acetaminophen 5-325 2 tablets every 4 hrs can he also take Advil ## They can be taken together, as long as his doctor approves. From what I've found they actually do make a combination of Hydrocodone + Ibuprofen under the following brand names: Vicoprofen, Reprexain, and Ibudone. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about trying one of these as an alternative to the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you have any concerns about it's potential cumulative effects on liver health with long term use? My husband got his finger cut off yesterday and the doctor gave him 7.5 hydrocoden. And its been hour and half and he is in pain. I was wondering if advil woukd be ok to give him to help him out.
