i like snorting my oxy 30s but i cant seem to crush the brown op 30s ## They've actually been specially formulated to prevent people using them in this manner, since they are only intended to be swallowed. If you try to crush them to snort or to dissolve for injecting, they turn into a gummy substance that retains its time released properties. Learn more Oxycontin details here. I sniffed 1/2 of an Opana 30mg on Friday August 6th. I have a drug test today, Monday the 9th. I'm freaking out. I took one of those take at home drug tests and it says I'm positive of OXY. Is that possible?? tried one of these just for curiosity because I heard/read so much for these "hillbilly heron' rep. Did feel light headed and it stopped the headaches .But certainly for the high price,I don't see the big deal. Snorted half and the other half was sublingual.Expected much more for all the hype and I suppose I can see the pain relief goal,but for not for recreational use, I prefer the Vics ER for pain. Don't care for it,especially the high price. Am I missing something here? My first Valium 30 years ago put me asleep the entire day,now I can 5 or more a day and have a tolerance that I use 10mg when I wake up at 3AM. I take about 8-10 roxi 30s a day from a legit neck problem.PM doc also gives opana 10,20. Based on the duration of use and frequency taken, I'd imagine that individual being on the higher end of the spectrum (4 days) from the last dose, as opposed to 2 days. A strong or weak metabolism can change this however, and should also be considered when factoring in the length of time it takes to completely be out of your system; give or take a day. If this user were to get a hair follicle test however, there would be trace amounts detectable for up to 90 days. I have been taking prescription pain medication (not prescribed to me) since I was around 14. It started out as just taking a hydro 10 here and there on the weekends. Then I started getting them at school taking more and more at a time. Eventually I got my hands on a 30mg roxy, and snorted it. I have been regularly snorting up to 90-120 mg a day for over a year now. I know I have an addiction, but Its just so hard to come off of them. I can't sleep, I get diarrhea, my body shakes and sweats. I have pains all over and all I can do is cry. I have been snorting 20s, 30s & 40s on a daily basis for 2 months now. Usually just one whole pill of one of these three diff mgs seperated throughout the day for sever lower back pain. I am finally being referred to a pain clinic but just need to make sure this will be out of my system before they admit me & take a urine speciman.. I cannot afford not to be treated bc I am miserable! My doctor switched me to Oxycontin 80MG from Oxycodone IR 30MG. What is the difference between the two? I read all these forums and many of them are about abusing them and I am not interested in doing that for fear of dying. So, what will happen if I chew them? I would like the best way to make my pain go away but I would not mind the euphoria/Hi from them but I am not wiling to snort or inject. I snorted half a roxy 30 last night and got a random drug test at work this morning. It was a oral eze test and said it tested for amph., cociane, methamph., opiates(codeine, hydrocodone, hydromorphones, heroin), thc(pot) and pcp. Hello, first post here, I'm a 19 year old male, I've been doing opiates for a little over two years now, by illegitimate ways, I do have a herniated disc (L4-L5) and a pinched nerve root in my left leg, over the course of the two years I have gone up and down in dosages, ranging from 30mgs a day to now 4-12mgs a day. I have been snorting the medication though. I'm at a point in my life where I want to leave this problem behind and move on with my life, but for some reason there is something holding me back from accomplishing it. The round white pil you are talking about with 262 on 1 side & what appears to be a crescent moon is a 15mg extended release oxymorphone "opana" which are definantly made everywhere in the united states! So it is a very common opiate. They are strong depending on your tolerence but would strongly suggest doing less if it's your first time trying them! HOW CAN I TAKE THE NEW OPANA 30MG ER? ## It is not safe to try to snort any medication that hasn't been specially formulated to be used nasally, especially time released formulations. Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled as waste. However, if attempt to snort them, you are placing these substances into your body, where they cannot be properly processed out. This creates the very real risk of blockages, which could lead to respiratory arrest, and this is on top of the risk of overdose. I used to take 20's when i first got them, but then i had a massive G.I Bleed out, woke up one morning throwing up blood and wouldnt stop, They had to give me 12 units of blood, frozen platlets, and emergency surgery. then after they sewed up 5 places on my stomach the bleeding still would not stop. Then they flew me to another hospital where i went into a coma for 1 month. Its almost been a year and i still cannot walk and have massive nerve damage in my legs from severe infection and massive blood loss... Not trying to knock it because i loved it. but I love my life as well. But now i get 90 Opana ER 20's with 180 Roxi 30's every 3-4 hours for break through pain. and with the new round Opana 20's i dont think you can snort those anyway. ## I am sorry about your health ...

Say one day you take a 30 mg roxi intranasally and down the road you take orally....which would be cleaned out of your system??...i wanna say intranasally...because it takes effect faster therefore ur body processes it and you move on??? Agreed?? ## I have to agree with your theory on the drug taking effect faster and therefore your body processes and excretes it at a faster rate than when taking it orally. On the contrary, since the drug is absorbed quicker, I have to wonder if the bio-availability is also increased? If it is increased, this may also affect the rate at which the drug is excreted, since your body could potentially have a greater percentage of the drug to metabolize.
